Historically, once a country is on a path to socialism, it is very nearly impossible to turn it around. It also takes upwards of 100 years to work socialism out of society.
This is where, I believe, America is now heading. The liberals have managed to create a voting system that almost ensures an electoral win every single time and I don't think America can recover.
So I have a suggestion. In the event that America really is done, as we all knew her, I suggest that each of you start gathering documentation of America's founding and the Founding Fathers and everything about America, including the educational materials like math and science and English and civics and everything.
I do not doubt that, once the communists have taken control of Congress, they will make what is in the archives disappear. They may even openly burn the Archives, because they have so much contempt and hatred for America.
In the event that the day should come and we can start working socialism out of America, this information will be like gold. I'd even suggest signing books out of your public libraries and "losing" them and giving the libraries the replacement costs for the books, just so you have a record of something.
I do believe that America falling into socialism is a necessary step just before the coming of the Messiah, but if the Messiah is not coming for hundreds of years, we will say, then we need something to build upon once this madness has passed from the American people.

You sure about that? I’m not sure about the last federal or provincial election but I know that on the municipal level, there were recent elections. I asked a friend in Ontario to see what kind of machine read the ballot when he voted.... he made note of that when voting and got back to me to tell me they were ‘Dominion’. I can’t imagine that these machines would be used for municipal elections but not for federal and provincial ones.
We haven't even begun to fight back.
As an aside, socialism hasn't taken over countries as you suggest. What has actually happened is that tyrants have used the ideology of socialism/communism as a means for gaining the reins of power in many countries. It is a tool for establishing a dictatorship or totalitarian government. But once that dictatorship gains power, the use of socialism/communism as a system of government always quickly proves to be clumsy and unworkable.
Socialism/communism is a failed ideology.
It doesn't work because socialism or communism is actually nothing but collectivism.
Let's call collectivism what it is. It is a cult in which all individual identities (even separate groups like families) are wiped out and outlawed in favor of the whole of society. By eliminating individualism, the collective removes all the contributions that we all make when permitted to be individuals. By eliminating individualism, the collective removes all concepts of merit. In the collective, there is no motivation for achievement, success, invention, creation, art, improvement, etc.
In a collective, there is no hope.
Collectivism is nothing but a giant committee and when have any of us seen a committee accomplish anything worthwhile?
Committees cannot create, invent, discover, or even improve. All committees do is control.
Now, all that said, I should insert a giant caveat. Socialism/communism can be sold to a large chunk of any population because its unattractive features can be hidden and its advantages promoted. After all, free stuff sounds appealing. Socialism sounds great when everyone hears only that we all get a big prize for merely participating...and there is no downside.
So keeping in mind that socialism is being used (however deceitfully) as a tool by someone to establish a dictatorship, let's rethink our current situation.
Some army is using a weak but speciously-appealing ideology to establish a totalitarian government in our country. But at this point, we don't even know who that is. So, before we start to fight, we have to clearly identify and define that enemy. We know that our enemy includes all those indoctrinated zombies that are now aligned against us, but we don't know who it is who is pushing this indoctrination. We need to know our enemy's strengths and weaknesses. We need to define the "head of the snake" that needs to be chopped off.
And for ourselves, we need to become a unified force and that requires a leader who best understands the enemy we face.
IMO that leader would be Trump.

Swear allegiance to the flag, whatever flag they offer. Never hint at what you really feel. Teach the children quietly, for someday sons and daughters will rise up and fight while we stood still.
I agree and, as a student of American history, this is a fear of mine.
Several years ago, I began loading numerous survival and technical related books onto an old Kindle in case it was ever needed. Mainly due to the long lasting battery charge. It could easily be charged using a couple of solar rechargeable lights I modified.
With sources such as Project Gutenburg, Z-Library (Now requires Tor), I have a pretty sizeable library of technical books, Classics, Survival, Cooking, Brewing/Distilling, you name it. And it all fits on a compact USB.
There’s no reason not to create a nice little library that can be accessed when the time comes.
Don’t forget military manuals. They are free to download if you look and they got many people through or trained for war.

I'm no longer too concerned about economic systems (socialism vs. capitalism). I'm more concerned about...
1. Anti-Christian bigotry, and
2. Anti-white racism.
If America becomes hostile to white Christians, I no longer care about its economic system.
I'd rather live in a socialist country that welcomes white Christians, than a capitalist country that reviles white Christians.

I was going to post that exact thing. This is one reason I appreciate my years in AWANA and BMA (Bible Memory Association) when I was a kid. They can take away my Bible, but until they come with an ice pick for my frontal lobe, I have a lot stored in my puny brain.
Also, volunteering with AWANA to listen to kids’ memorizations helps keep you fresh.
Socialist/communist countries are either dictatorships or totalitarian regimes.
At least in a country with a representative government, you have individual freedom.
All that aside, Christ warned us that we would be persecuted as He and the Apostles were.

You are correct that both seek to alter history, and both destroy records, so that their truth can not be contested.
The socialists have managed to stay in power for decades, while the fascist nations are short lived. Neither more that 200 years. Then, it always goes to monarch/dictator/ and eventually slavery and darkness.
