In 2018, in a bit of whimsy, I wrote a Qanteen Canticle Qhristmas story. I had not planned to repost it this year, but another fit of whimsy has overtaken me, and I have written a new Qanteen Canticle.
Because I have been absent for such a long time I realized that there might be some here who do not know about the Qanteen Qanticles and the fun we all had here together in the Qanteen.

*Texokie stood up and stretched. Unmindfully she pulled on the loose thread on her sweater. She was thinking how she missed Darlin. He had sent her here to open up the Qanteen again. Gathering up her belongings, she made her way to the exit of the train.*
*It had been a fun trip moving across the country by train. What a gorgeous country we live in! Lakes, plains, rivers, woods….and the vastness! We are truly blessed by God.*
*And, oh that sweet mountain air! *
*The checked luggage was placed in the baggage area where she collected it. It was ONLY 4 large suitcases! She recalled the wry comments Darlin had for her when he tried to persuade her to leave some of it at home…but after she could prove that she could indeed move it (because of the wheels)…and a little “oomph” for slight lifting, he relented with a twinkle in his eye. He didn’t know that she actually HAD decided to leave the anvil at home. You never know when you will need a good anvil. Maybe next trip.*
