A FedEx driver confessed to abducting and killing 7-year-old Athena Strand after he delivered a package to her family's home, Wise County Sheriff Lane Akin said at a press conference Friday night.
Police found Strand's body southeast of Boyd, Texas. Digital evidence and interviews lead investigators to believe that Strand died within an hour of her abduction, according to Akin.

I often tell people you dont have nearly as much to fear as the press leads to you believe since nearly everyone robbed or killed usually known the perp. So if you are not hanging out with criminals you are usually pretty safe since nearly all the abductions you get amber alerts for a nothing but custody battles between parents.
But THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is the worst sort of nightmare for a parent!
The freaking FedEx guy!!!!!!!!!! my UPS guy has seen my kids grow up and they answer the door for packages nearly daily. This is an absolute nightmare.
