Bands like that led to our nation’s demise.

She and Fleetwood Mac had a small revival recently with Chevrolet putting “Everywhere” in their commercials and Christine McVie singing.

RIP, Songbird. Stevie Nicks got all the glory but Christine deserved an equal share.

Sad to hear. She was extremely talented and an infectious personality.
Ironically, there’s been an ad on TV a lot recently that is based on what of her vocals, Everywhere I think it is.
Rest in peace Christy Mc-V.

It used to be, in newspaper speak, that someone dying "after a short illness" often meant suicide. What was the cause of death?

Seems to me that “short illness” is a standard moniker for “cause of death undisclosed”.

Sorry to hear. That era is leaving at a rapid rate.
What the hell kind of “short illness” was that? I don’t want it.

Her ex-husband's old boss (John Mayall) just turned 89 - that's just 11 years shy of 100.
Man, that makes me, um, 39?

RIP Christine.
IMO the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame did a disservice to Bob Welch when they omitted mention of his contributions to Fleetwood Mac.

Christine had a special talent for writing pop songs with just the right combination of “hook” for popular airplay and uniqueness that allowed them to stand the test of time. Her musicianship was always at the core of the songs that even Stevie or Lindsay are associated with. RIP to one of rock’s legends.

Noooooo! I’ve followed her since her days as a great part of Chicken Shack - (British Blues band from the 60’s)
I knew she was having some very private health concerns and she only a few days ago, retired from Fleetwood Mac.
