A woman is in the hospital after being shot several times inside her own home, according to Flowery Branch police.
Officers say they were called to a home on Chattahoochee St. just after 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning where they found a woman with multiple gunshot wounds in the street.
They were able to apply a tourniquet to the woman and send her to the hospital. She is currently listed as stable.
Investigators quickly identified Fonda Spratt, 56, as the shooter and took her into custody.
Detectives learned that Spratt walked into the victim’s home and confronted her about barking dogs before pulling out a gun and shooting her several times.
Spratt was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, burglary, reckless conduct and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. More charges are possible.

Another case of your neighbor's dog becoming YOUR dog, through the thick walls of your own house.
Not saying I agree, but I can understand the sentiment.
Frigging women attempted murderer gets 2 counts of aggravated assault.
Insane and should be attempted murder 1. Intent. The last time she went back in with a gun and shot her.
God the vagina card does miracles. No man would just get aggravated assault.
Totally ridiculous.
Well, I Amit I’ve considered this solution.
Drug-test her....she’s got something in her system.
good news
no pets allowed in prison
The neighbors across the street had two dogs that they kept locked up in the garage all day while they were at work. They would bark and howl all day long. It wasn’t loud enough to annoy us, but we felt bad for the dogs.
We ended up having one for the weekend when they went out of town. It was a great dog when it stayed with us inside and with the kids.
“What? You liked him!?”
“Yeah - he was great.”
“Ya want him?”
They ended up giving him to us for free. He was a great dog! It did take him a few weeks to not howl when we left him in the house alone. My wife did a great job training him, and he was very smart, and protective of her and the kids.
He wouldn’t bark at people on the street or sidewalk, but as soon at they stepped on our driveway he would bark a few times to let us know there was someone there.
I’ve done some projects in and around prisons. I think the thing I would hate the most is the noise. There was always a couple of guys yelling the entire time. Even working off-site far from the walls you could hear this constant yelling. I would go nuts.
“...she’s got something in her system.”
Or she’s missing something that is needed to keep her stable.
My neighbor is a 20 year corrections officer. He agrees with you. He told me that even after lockdowns, lights out it is still noisy.
nice picture of the perp
Well the Bumpuses’ dogs are annoying.
Thank you.
Late last night I slew my wife,
Stretched her on the parquet flooring;
I was loath to take her life,
But I had to stop her snoring!

I had an offer on my house withdrawn after my neighbor’s neglected Golden Retriever gave away the secret as to why we were selling the place.
Barking dogs can drive you nuts, but deadly violence is rarely the answer. She should have gone to the neighbor’s front door and screamed obscenities until someone stopped her (without violence).
Same!
