Adele's mega-money residency in Las Vegas started triumphantly on Friday night – but behind the scenes there has been drama, with the singer shunning a luxury suite at a hotel owned by Caesars Palace, where the show is being staged.
The iconic Vegas mainstay offered swanky accommodation at the Palazzo Suites at the Rio Casino as part of her deal to sing at the Caesar’s Palace Colosseum for a reported $1 million a night.
The suite was said to be a luxury lodging, with a butler thrown in and the plan was for Adele to spend weekends holed up there with son Angelo and boyfriend Rich Paul between now and March.

Ceasars is MAKING money off of her. If not, then they shouldn't do it. I'm sure they don't like this. You're right, it doesn't look good for them. But, if it was that important to them, they should have put it in her contact.
Wow. I’d always thought that she was a porker fat explosion ready to happen given the right circumstances, but this shows she’s already been there. If she has a child all that comes right back.

LOL I'm actually not sure at all that Ceasars is making money. They SHOULD be. But, they seem to be terrible at business. Their debt is enormous.

One of my favorite stories of ridiculousness is Elton John. He threw a hissy fit about the way the wind was blowing and called the hotel up and asked them to do something about it. He later recognized how ridiculous he was at the time
He was/is quite the diva. He was to hold a concert at the USF campus one night back in the ‘90s. People bought tickets and drove hours to get there, including us. We got to the gate and were turned away. Because the concert wasn’t 100% sold out, he cancelled the whole thing.

For years I’ve wondered why some of OUR hackers couldn’t hijack the chyron messages scrolling at the bottom of MSNBC, CNN, etc., screens. Looks like it’s possible.
