When a Republican Judge or Justice is proudly appointed by a Republican, he or she will ALMOST always go out of their way to make a point, even in a decision, that they are in no way “beholden” to the person or party that gave them this great honor. When a Democrat Judge or Justice, especially a Radical Left one, is proudly appointed by a Democrat, he or she just doesn’t care, it is ALMOST impossible to get a fair decision on a case if you are a Republican. This is the guy my husband listened to during the pandemic. He was all in on the vaxx. But he's slowly been changing his tune.
Well, this is pee-culiar. The Govt. has "waived its right to file a response" in the Supreme Court case, "unless requested to do so by the Court". Waiver was filed yesterday. No future deadlines or events listed at present. (Being a complete Neanderthal about links, I don't know squat about why some links are clickable and others -- like the one below -- have to be copied-and-pasted into a separate window.)

Yes, I saw that. But there’s a clickable link on there to view the Waiver filed by the Govt. yesterday, which states they’re waiving the right to respond unless directed to do so by the Court. No future events or deadlines entered. Can’t quite figure out if the case is still live. Weird!

Did some searching and found another Supreme Court case where the Respondent filed a Waiver. The docket for that case had other filings and events, starting a couple of weeks after the Respondents filed their Waiver Letter. So maybe #22-380 ISN’T the usual “kick in the face” after all.
Stranger things have happened. This might be good to keep eyes on.
It's like Dr. Drew Pinsky, the LA radio host doctor... who, after both he and his son suffered adverse events post-vaccine, has changed his tune. But he still starts every broadcast off with a message that the Covid vaccine is "safe and effective." Once you get past that, he's done really interesting interviews with Dr. Robert Malone, Dr. Pierre Kory, Dr. Peter McCullough, Ed Dowd (technical data from insurance companies), Robert F. Kennedy (Children's Health Defense), and his co-host, Dr. Kelly Victory (earlycovidcare.org), who is super opposed to the covid vax. Now I'm not a regular listener of Dr. Drew, but I looked at his YT channel and noted that he was not talking about this stuff 6 months ago, but they also keep mentioning that their videos keep getting removed and their live podcasts will be cut off halfway through. So the best place to see what Dr. Drew and Dr. Victory have been posting is at his website drdrew.tv

That’s a good approach to life and decisions. I’m hoping the gates will just swing wide open when I arrive, as I’d rather not have to explain anything in front of God when my time comes. But I’m an imperfect person and I imagine there will be questions. I hope they will be few and minor.
I can’t get past Jesus on the cross saying, about the soldiers who nailed him to the cross, “Forgive them. They know not what they do.” That statement suggests that there may be room for forgiveness and/or redemption for evil acts if a person is ignorant that they were doing evil/harm. I’m not a biblical scholar though. It’s really best that, like you, Uber-Eng, I try to live as blameless a life as I can.
