1. Does anyone know what their average salary was?
2. Do you think it'll be easy for most to get a job that's just as good as they had?
Just curious.
You mean the government would relate their visa? They probably have to do something serious for that. The company could fire them but they would still have their visa. But they would have to get another job almost immediately. The thing is if you have an H-1B you aren’t an adventure you can get another job and take that Visa with you. One company I worked at wouldn’t hire any H-1B because they hired two spent $20,000 each to the lawyers and then the people left within 3 months to go to another company. People don’t realize how expensive it is to get an h1bp worker
btw..you cant buy titter stock now
NYSE AND NASDAQ have banned it.
As he stated “just curious”
I wonder why you are wondering about him wondering about it.
My answer to both: it depends.
I wonder why you are wondering why he’s wondering about it…
If actually in SF, that’s not much.
Most dotheads’ CVs are lies.
It is a private company. No more stock.
Who would want to hire a bunch of “entitled” snowflakes who believe that they are owed a substantial salary just because they are here?
Elon did the right thing by firing them all at once.
There are ways to have an H1B visa revoked.

But I’m betting that while that can happen, depending on who’s in the White House, there’s also an army of lawyers waiting to drop lawsuits on any employer that does something to a visa recipient.
I’ve read that this is pretty common and that for as many that are good and hard workers, there are many others that are absolute nightmares.

LOL! Musk needs you to tweet Twitters, or whatever these folks do. You’ll gain 100,000 followers on week #1.
Very clannish and promote their own when given any power.
I don’t care for them.
Nothing on this end.
