I cannot believe what Clay Travis said today on the EIB station. "TRUMP SHOULD AGREE TO SUPPORT THE TICKET IF HE LOSES THE PRIMARY"

Clay Travis said today he thought Trump should agree to support the nominee, if he(Trump) did not win the nomination.
I think that is an incredibly naive position. Does anyone think the RNC is trustworthy? Would anyone trust Mitch McConnell to be honest and fair? The only way Trump will have any leverage at all is to not to promise to support the ticket if he is not treated fairly. The GOPe Republican Establishment might joins forces with the Democrats to eliminate Trump, or clandestinely work against Trump in the primary. Why do they call it the Uniparty?

He's the only declared candidate at the moment so there isn't anyone else to ask. And Travis didn't actually ask him - he just said that he should say it. I took it as more advice than a demand.
But it is generally a question asked on all candidates at the first debate anyway. Honestly don't remember how he answered it back in 2016.

And this is obviously being realistic about the nominee -- DeSantis, Pompeo, Youngkin, Haley. Not Liz Cheney or Mitt Romney. Of course, the "MAGA Alternative to Trump" side of the party is going to have to come together and unify behind a single candidate and do so fairly early before the primaries kick off.
If it's Trump on one side and DeSantis/Pompeo/Youngkin/Paul/Cruz on the other side, Trump steamrolls over all of them.

Someone else mentioned he said, “Sure if it’s me.”
I don’t recall either.

Personally, I think there is zero chance that Trump or DeSantis will be elected in 2024.

That’s one of the most memorable moments of 2016, when every wimpy Republican raised their hand to that totally loaded cheesy question, will you support the nominee...Trump...I will support the nominee, if I am the nominee!!!! Okay, I remember that now. I'll just say that I don't think that would be a smart course for him to take this time.

They both are an insult to the EIB that Rush had. I’ll listen to Mark Levin & Dan Bongino instead. I’d almost tolerate Glenn beck instead of those two.

In 2015, the Bush/Romney/McCain/Ryano wing of the Republican party were trying to unite against Trump, or seemed to be doing that. Not fair. They should all support their candidate of choice, and not work against the leader. Trump must demand to be treated fairly. I'm getting the sense that a whole lot of folks believe that the only way Trump can lose the nomination is if he is not treated fairly.

Let Trump be Trump.
His unfiltered outspokenness is why I voted for him, all other DC denizens, R or D, are too careful what they say and how.
They all speak Swamp. Trump understands it and refuses to get muzzled.

Trump should support the RINOs who stabbed him in the back in 2020? Judging from GOP retention of the failed McLeadership, Trump is perfectly justified in starting a new party.

The Travis and Sexton show which has replaced the Rush hours is in no way comparable to Rush and his three hours of intelligent, informed, comments on political matters or any other subject. They mostly self promote themselves and their various media outlets and their personal lives. Boring and constantly citing unverified numbers of how large their audience is. Sexton was CIA for a few years long ago and brings this connection up daily. Travis is an authority on anything and everything. I believe the are now cultivating sponsors and supporters by hyping RINOS. Mediocre fill ins. And NO, Donald Trump should not agree to support a ticket should he lose a primary. That would be just plain stupid, and an invitation for RINOS to make sure he lost.

He thinks there will be a primary. BWAHAHAHAHA!

Clay Travis and Buck Sexton were embarassing today. Not very deep thinkers, at best.

I intend to vote for Donald Trump for President regardless of which party’s ticket he is on. I will even write him in if he isn’t on a ticket. If he dies or is assassinated, I will vote for one of his sons. An election was stolen, and the reelection of Trump is our republic’s only path to redemption.

Your whining isn’t news.
Post in chat or not at all.
And get over yourself.

The word is out. Censure Pres.Trump and his base., acting like the good little Communists that they are.
Turn it off, refuse to spend any money on their sponsors. It will take care of itself as the economy tanks this winter. The commies may be run out of town with pitchforks.
