That’s a wonderful story.
Anyone who doesn’t think their doctor is in it for the money...like most of us in our jobs...must have forgotten we live in a capitalist system where making money, generally speaking, is highly encouraged.
It’s the same story with the FDA. Their secondary objective might include a dab of public safety; but, their primary objective is making sure the “Right people and companies” are making the money. This is ridiculously easy to do: Just bottle up the new drugs of smaller companies until they run out of cash and can be acquired by the owners of the FDA, i.e., major Pharma and their pets like Fauci.
I’ve been tracking this for years, watching genetic-medicine cures for many cancers, and even Sickle Cell Disease, get stalled interminably after curing every patient in their FDA-approved clinical studies (i.e., cured of “incurable” diseases). (The story is told in the 10Q quarterly reports filed by public companies, including genetic medicine companies who have a great invention but no way yet to legally sell it.) The FDA is also running interference for the insurance industry here, as these one-dose genetic cures are pricey.
I am also NOT IGNORING the uses of FDA to implement policies dreamed up by our new American oligarchy of billionaires and their business partners including nation-state actors and other corrupt organizations who are enemies of the USA.
So is Ryan connected to Murdoch and the other billionaires? (The articles you pointed me to didn’t mention him specifically.) I haven’t paid much attention to Ryan since he “retired”.
But I have wondered what he’s been doing all this time. How do you go from Speaker to zero? What do you follow up with? Has he been politically active? Is he working as a lawyer? A greeter at Walmart? Unemployed? I’m curious.
... and furthermore, is Ryan still in the picture? With ANY color of hat. Or has his chess piece been completely taken off the board?
I wonder this about Sessions, too, but remain convinced that Sessions is a white hat. Is he doing something? My fantasy is that I picture Sessions presiding over derp military trials at Gitmo. But I have no actual theory about what he’s doing.

It’s criminal, and I hope the clean governments of the future can get rid of the interference that stands in the way of real cures. Right now, it seems as though one man stands in the way of continued corruption of all institutions and freedom unlike that which humans have ever experienced.

The D.A. case against two small Trump entities has fallen apart. Even the Media is saying so. There has never been a “Fringe Benefits” case such as this brought before. Did a long time executive pay tax on the use of a company car, or a company apartment, or payments (not even taken by us as a tax deduction!) for the education of his grandchildren? For this, he gets handcuffs and jail? The highly paid accounting firm should have routinely picked these things up - we relied on them. VERY UNFAIR!

It’s called “standards and practices,” referring, I presume, to the standards and practices of large numbers of people within the Country. Out of fairness, it has a legal meaning. It should be a point in the Manhattan D.A. case. Did the former D.A. Pay tax on the use of his car? In the meantime, Violent Crime in New York has reached an ALL TIME HIGH!
