Trump or Desantis? My Thoughts
Rumble ^ | November 12, 2022 | Styx

Now it's time to address the elephant in the room that is the rising "tension" between Ron Desantis and Donald Trump. Really it is more tension that is being astroturfed by the GOP establishment and by Democrats. The legacy media is all on board with this. They love it because it allows them to work out their TDS frustration while stirring up chaos in the Republican party..

You should admit you are a Democrat fifth columnist. You are doing the Democrats work for them.

Looks like that is YOUR job.

Projection much???

Unfortunately one big mistake! But sooner or later he’s gonna see the light when that fat cake eating bitch backstabs him! Mark my words it’s just around the corner.

Cheney couldn’t win a primary in her own district

It was unfair. She was taken out by the very unpopular Trump who no one listens to. He is done. Get over it. GOPe and the Washington Post are giving you their best advice here. For your own good.

Cult… I guess you weren’t paying attention for the last 6 years. Trump delivered on all promises, unlike every other politician you could possibly name in the last 60 years.

How am I a fifth columnist? Because I say Republicans shouldn’t be tearing each other apart before the election is even over and NO ONE has declared for 2024? I am the bad uy because I am pro-life and anti-lockdoqn and vaccine?

I guess you never heard of DeSantis?

DeSantis wouldn’t exist as the thought in your head without Trump.

I fall under 4, 5, and 6.

2016 I voted for Trump and R’s down the ballot.

2018 I voted for R’s down the ballot.

2020 I voted for Trump and no R’s down the ballot.

2022 I did not vote.

2024 I intend on voting for Trump.

Right.

Right now - Trump because he’s tried and true.

DeSantis is untired on the big stage but he comes across to me as a politician type even though so far he seems to stand for the right things. Something happens to supposed conservatives when they get to DC.

Trump remained unaffected by DC’s political corruption because at his core, he’s not a politician but an American and a businessman.

Agree.

And, it’s the usual bunch.

They couldn’t wait to slither back, after the latest, compromise election.

Tommy Shaw the long blonde hair in the front with a goatee... he was in a band called STYX which was a popular band in the ‘70s. The lead guitarist player is kind of the big blonde guy to the right of the long haired blonde guy and maybe the drummer’s in there maybe the bass player.

The keyboard player is probably not in this picture because he was kind of loathed towards the end. He was really driving the band into his direction rather than the band and working together in collaboation. Tempers flared.

IMHO, they are kind of what bubblegum music became in the late ‘70s, something akin to “Fanzine” artists for the most part.

Styx was a band in the mid to late seventies, they were radio airplane had some big hits and Wiki Styx the band and wiki will be able to sort it out, everything you ever wanted to know and maybe some stuff you didn’t really care about.

I was in the Aleutians fighting the Cold War when they were popular so I sort of missed them but every Navy puke that had a gigantic stereo was incessantly playing the records of that era at high volume so the entire barracks could enjoy...and Styx was one of them.

We know Trump keeps his promises and will take on the Republican establishment, Deep State and neocons. Illegal immigration reached its lowest level in decades under this watch.

George W. Bush and even Jeb Bush looked great as governors of conservative states.

Whether Trump or any other Republican willing to drain the swamp will ever be allowed to win again, though, is the question.

Several other Trump loyalists (Sessions above all) were incompetent.

McDaniel was in charge of an overall party decline, particularly key losses in the WI, PA, MI, NV governor races in 2018. Without those governorships, the COVID related mail-ballot catastrophe was made possible.

After reading all the arguments for and against Trump and Desantis, the one thing that keeps coming back to mind, is President Trump has too too much baggage that the socialists and media would bring up every hour once he declared himself. There are sill millions out there that believe the Russian collusion BS and other crap.

Sill, his policies did Make America Great Again, but Biteme has undone all those Executive Orders and turned America into a laughing stock.

Plus, the man just can't learn to keep his mouth shut. We all loved his direct fire on the media/politicians during his campaign and presidency. To me, it's gotten old since being out of office. Also, I wonder if he has learned much from all the poor choices he made regarding inner circle advisors and other appointees.

The above said, it's too early for me who should run on the 2024 ticket.

I loved Donald Trump as the president. His policies were awesome and he got things done.

I love it that he took it to the media and swamp on a daily basis.

He is definitely a man's man... however, he didn't know how to balance it all out and be liked by the independent voters. It's the independent voters that decide elections.

I am not saying that Trump needed to water down his stances . I'm saying that he needed to work at being more likable.

He's combative all the time, and that just doesn't play well with the majority of Americans. Plus.... he's starting to sound like a crybaby to many voters.

I know the RINOs hate him, and I'm not after their vote. I just want to see him stop all the ridiculous infighting.

I for one... have changed my choice and want to see DeSantis win the nomination. And I don't have a single acquaintance that supported Trump as much as I did.

He's hurting the movement now more than he helps it. I'll vote for him in a general election, but DeSantis would get my vote in a primary.
