Truth Social ^ | November 9, 2022 | Donald J. Trump

Posted on 11/10/2022 5:41:18 AM PST by Trump20162020

Now that the Election in Florida is over, and everything went quite well, shouldn’t it be said that in 2020, I got 1.1 Million more votes in Florida than Ron D got this year, 5.7 Million to 4.6 Million? Just asking?

He’s going from likeable to unlikeable. Does he not have an ounce of humility? Humility makes someone likable. Arrogance makes someone nauseating.

You need to read downthread a little.

-presidential vs midterm election cycle

And his poor attitude does not need to be displayed publicly, at least.

Perhaps one lesson would be that Trump’s father started that wealth. Which many tend to forget though they often disparage wealthy life-long privileged candidates.

It was ok when he picked on McCain and Graham., ok with all the Dems.. but do not go after a Republican who is more Conservative than he is.

Agreed. Thought it was purely the domain of commie Dems. Started with Klintoon and their creating a cult of the personality, complete with “paper-hanging” on the DC Mall.

I just think of Patton when I think of paper-hanging SOBs. (Not much different from “rallies”.)

Wow!

This is Free Republic and virtually all the comments are negative toward Trump.

How far has Trump stepped over the line on this one if he’s losing Freepers?

And so goes the soap opera. My next line is, but wait DeSantis met with....., and my favorite talking head wrote. Cue your line of but...... on and on. Chumped out again! What I say and I’m making an ass of myself being drawn into their game with you, is I DON’T CARE to each soap opera provocation. Our response should be F that, how much money did you raise today, what quality conservative candidates did you recruit for ‘24? What’s the joint position on the Uke quagmire, etc. What’s the point? You’re obviously a very intelligent conservative and its right over your head. We’ll be scratching our heads two years from today wondering “how the hell did they do it to us again?”.

Or we can say Trump built the MAGA movement but has taken it as far as he can take it, so it’s time for his heir to take over.

Shouldn’t it also be said that the turnout for Presidential elections is always higher?

Shouldn’t nothing be said since there is no need to pick this fight?

I don’t hear DeSantis sniping at you Mr. Trump.

How bout this. Let’s focus on unifying this ship as unpalatable as it sounds and is. We have huge problems with a rigged election system and we need to come together and figure out how to play the game better.

“What is wrong with him?”

None of what he’s saying/doing now makes sense; it’s so over the top. My theory is that he’s dealing with a bad case of PTSD, has been reining it for years, but now is flipping out. Maybe the sudden popularity of DeSantis was the trigger.

Considering everything he’s been through since 2015, I’d be surprised if he was NOT dealing with PTSD, and worse. 95% of us would be in a rubber room if experiencing even one-tenth of what he’s been through.

Maybe he should just take a six-month hiatus, re-group, relax, and then think about his future in politics.

I love him, but am embarrassed for him.

Thanks, I’ll look a little deeper into this, admittedly I’m not up on what’s going on with Trump and DeSantis, I just heard the DeSanctimonius comment the other day and was a bit confused on what’s going on.

If you recall in 2016. when Trump was running for the nomination, he had no fear of blatantly ridiculing everyone he was running against. The only conservative was Cruz who he left alone for the first three months while he belittled and humiliated every opponent.

We all thought it was funny, finally someone who espoused our thoughts but also would have no truck with lip service or pandering RINOs and establishment guys. This was all part of his belligerent NY Developer/Shister personality and overall success in his field. Some of us that came from this world knew him as pretty much an asshole. Then he got the nomination and was true to his word on the issues he would run on in the General.

We all loved it when he belittled the vile HILLARY.

In office he did what he said as much as he felt he could get away with it but he had some detractors. There were some that felt he could have just slammed the wall in and told everyone to stuff it (Ann Coulter for example.) Most were just happy that he fought tooth and nail and did what he did. However there was some disquiet that he could not defend and keep his staunchest allies and he had so pissed off the Party powers in general that he had no bench to draw on for a strong team to run the country. Pompao aside, he had nothing but placeholders and guys looking to work around him

Now the Lone Wolf is getting ready to decide if he wants to put his son on the escalator or get on it himself. Nothing has changed and we are seeing his lack of dimension clearly. He sucks all the oxygen out of the room when he enters was the old expression oft told of others.

DeSantis is the enemy now. He is a rising star in GOP politics and has the very real potential of overshadowing Trump as the new face of the party going forward. Trump’s ego won’t allow that, he has to be number one. It always is and always has been about him. It’s his spotlight and he doesn’t share it. A man who really wanted to do what was best for the COUNTRY would step aside, use his influence to continue to build the base and support the new wave of young conservative republicans that honestly, he laid the groundwork for. But that’s not Trump. We’re starting to see that he’s really no different than any other narcissistic politician, other than he holds at least some conservative, America first positions. He needs the adoration of the masses. It’s what he lives for, and he won’t give it up graciously, share it or go away quietly. The dems are going to egg him on in the hope, probably not unfounded, that he will do all their dirty work for them in terms of trying to destroy any real viable candidates for 2024.

Flame away.

I agree. But you know what this is, right?

In basketball, what happens when a team goes on a 10-0 run?

The opposing coach calls a time out, just to break momentum.

As crass as it seems, this is Trump breaking RDS’s momentum, and quickly.

In 2023, none of this will be remembered, any more than the McTurd “I prefer the ones who weren’t captured” remark.

He didn’t change anything is the point. He’s no different than the others. Put another way, he’s no Donald Trump.
