Donald Trump statement on Florida election results
Truth Social ^ | November 9, 2022 | Donald J. Trump

Posted on 11/10/2022 5:41:18 AM PST by Trump20162020

Now that the Election in Florida is over, and everything went quite well, shouldn’t it be said that in 2020, I got 1.1 Million more votes in Florida than Ron D got this year, 5.7 Million to 4.6 Million? Just asking?

JUST SHUT UP, DONALD!!!! YOU COST US THE SENATE WITH YOUR SELF-OBSESSED STUPIDITY, AND YOU REFUSE TO LEARN!!!

How does this help you in any way? Do you think people don’t understand turnout is always higher in a presidential election? DeSantis won by 20%; you won by 4%. Does that mean DeSantis is a better candidate? No. But it does mean you come off like a braying jackass if you oversee the wreckage you’ve caused and claim you did so well.

DeSantis also didn’t have a real race if you’re being honest. The fact that DeSantis caused fewer people to vote is now a selling point? This is his number with the national, media GOPe and even the Democrats are cheerleading for him so he can take out Trump. What would his number be after he spends a year bashing Trump in order to get the nomination and THEN the media starts digging up dirt? Not very impressive if you ask me.

Trumps best move to get off the DOJs hit list is to help put DeSantis in the White House.

~~~
I would agree with this advice generally speaking, but when it comes to TDS, the hate runs deep. Trump slinking away is very unlikely to call these dogs off.
I do agree thought that Trump isn’t being overly strategic here. DeSantis becoming president (assuming Trump doesn’t alienate him as much as he did the Bushes) is his second best scenario behind return their himself. He really shouldn’t be burning this bridge.
Trump is being petulant and not helping his own cause, one has to really question his mental state for the 2024 election.
Good God, man, you’re totally eaten up with it! The GD Uniparty (R) oligarchs and their allies in the government/media alliance. Trump and DeSantis, EITHER ONE is their worst nightmare. We conservative fools take the BS soap opera bait and begin eviscerating the guy we absolutely love! Sometimes I think my head is going to explode. Geesh!
************
You are proving my point, dude. And I am a female BTW. Trump and DeSantis either one is great, and so they should not be attacking one another.
POTUS45 is running for reelection.
DESANTIS is contemplating running for POTUS.
#1 RULE of THUMB for winning an election
Eliminate the opposition before they get a foothold.
Is he REALLY “truthing” that, or is this another false story?
I hate that it's put in text instead of stated vocally where we can pickup attitude. Whether Trump meant it seriously or in jocularity (like frat boys saying "mine's bigger'n yours") makes a world of difference.
Unfortunately, I think Trump is being serious. He probably feels like he's on the outside looking in and can't wait to be part of the 2024 political battle.
First, I fully supported DJT in ‘16 and ‘20. But this is, proverbially, equivalent to shooting himself in the foot.
I’m afraid he went from “MAGA” to “MTGA,” “Make Trump Great Again” with these latest comments about Gov. DeSantis and Florida . . .
The foundation of Alexander the Great's empire was built by his father: Philip II of Macedon. Without Philip there would have been no Alexander the Great.
Philip grew his empire as large as he knew how. Had Alexander not taken over, there would have been no Greek empire.
There's a lesson for GOP politics here if we'll heed it.
Most people view that as Trump making it all about himself, when in reality it is just Trump’s way of humor, and people need to start recognizing that fact.
When you have to explain the punchline, the joke sucked. Bad timing, bad context. Now DJT continues the needling. Rather than demonstrate his strengths as a leader and a statesman, DJT is displaying childish behavior. We don't need a heckler in chief.
Midterms in general have lower turnout than presidential election years. That is to be expected. Given historic trends, to say that DeSantis is responsible for fewer voters is disingenuous.
DeSantis won by 19 points. Trump won by 4. Nuff said.
TRUMP rose above crooked politics. DESANTIS won because the system was fixed because TRUMP pointed out the corruption.
I just yesterday called it Trump Derangement Syndrome, Type II.
Type I is the obvious commies who will hate him just for being a Republican.
Type II is conservative EverTrumpers who swear the man can do no wrong and is the perfect everything.
It is a valid statement. President Trump is more popular among the voters than DeSantis and the polls show this time and again.
That’s nothing against DeSantis.
I’ve given up on Trump. Just TIRED of his “ME, ME, ME!” And if I’m tired of him, after being passionately for him in 2016/2020...then the majority of the country are way past being tired! He cannot win in 2024. But he can prevent someone else on our side from winning...because he only has one side: HIM.
