He’s running at he’s letting the deep state and the GOPe do the fighting for him because he’s a coward. He’s trying to place both side like slick Willie. Trump is stating to draw the contrast because he knows what they’re doing. People love when Trump fights. Some on this board don’t like it because their guy is the target but eventually the target will be someone they don’t like again and they’ll like it again. Ron is being just like Bush and Romney.
I can only speak for myself, but I’m just weary of the focus on personality vs policy. I think Trump was one of the best presidents of our lifetime, but he could have been even better if he would have stayed away from engaging in this kind of unnecessary drama. Another problem is that he gives too much power (read Fauci) to unpatriotic people.
Also, it took me months to get over his loss in 2020. I , and several of my friends, have absolutely zero desire to live through that roller coaster again.
I know a lot of Freepers would say that he deserves our loyalty, but he needs to stop with this nonsense is he wants mine. Now if he is he nominee, I will vote for him, but I desperately want to move on with fresh blood.

I’m not blind. When they told Kari Lake to distance herself from Trump she went on stage with him and gave him a hug. Do you think they didn’t tell Ron the same thing? Just watch him to see his response. He has spent a year distancing himself from Trump so he can have the support of Paul Ryan. These articles blaming Trump for the mid terms while proping up Desanctimonius isn’t coming from no where. Desanctimonius, like Kari Lake did, can address it but he doesn’t because he wants to reap the benefits of the attacks. This guy is no friend of the people. He turned on Trump inside of two years. If and when he gets to Washington he’ll owe someone and it won’t be the people. His silence says more than what he will say from here on out.

Obviously, you are a strong Trump supporter, and I respect that. Should Trump win the GOP 2024 nomination, I will vote for him.
But Trump and conservatives need to look also to the future. We can’t just trash conservatives just because they won’t genuflect and kiss Trump’s ring.
DeSantis has both public and policy positions than are different than Trump, so it may just be they don’t agree on some things policy wise. For example,
Trump: “The vaccines are one of the greatest inventions in the history of mankind”
DeSantis: “They lied to us”
Trump: PRIDE Events
DeSantis: Don’t Say Gay
Trump: I was robbed! We have to out vote the cheaters so come to my rally!
DeSantis: Here are the specific changes we are making to secure elections
Etc.
It’s not about you, Mr. President. It’s about the country and we’re losing it. Perhaps some introspection at this stage would help. You can’t unite the country without a cause and half reject the notion that it’s all about you. Yes, you were wronged, but you will not be the one to correct it.
