Be careful what you wish for, liberal media: you might get it.
Morning Joe was in a great good mood today, glorying in the absence of a midterm red wave. And Joe Scarborough wasted no time in taunting Donald Trump.
Willie Geist is normally the most even-handed of the Morning Joe crew. So it was surprising that he authored the unkindest cut of all. Referring to Ron DeSantis's stunning victory in the Florida governor's race, in which he won by almost 20 points and carried outright the traditional Dem stronghold of Miami-Dade, Willie said:
"It would appear this morning, this is Ron DeSantis's party and not Donald Trump's."

DeSantis won’t be his VP.
He’d rather wait and try and get the nomination on his own.
I don’t know who Trump will pick, however.
Not if Trump were on the ballot. Looks like Desanctimonius doesn’t have quote the same appeal.
One of the Big Lies that never-Trumpers are spreading is that the libs won’t attack DeSantis the way they attacked (and will always attack) Trump.
As soon as DeSantis gets the nomination, all hell will break loose on him. In the meantime, the libs are scouring the planet for any dirt they can find on DeSantis, and if they can’t find any, they will simply make it up, just as they did with Trump.
Another Big Lie is that Trump can’t possibly win in 2024. If that was true, then it would also true that NO Republican could possibly win in 2024.
WHY do they continue this narrative that Trump is poison? His success rate for his endorsements is somewhere between 90%-95%, I think.
Troll alert.
So morning Joe endorses Republicans now! Maybe now they will be honest about Senile Joe! Isnt that great !
Trying to figure out what Trump is going to do is a fruitless labor for many. Who knows? But it would make life interesting if he did talk DeSantis into it. The reason being that he won’t have to ‘nail him’ if DeSantis chooses to run against him, which would leave him weaker when he does run.
This makes no sense. But feel free to make stuff up in your head if it makes you happy.
1) Remember all the jokes and innuendos about Pence not being in the same room alone with a woman? "Mike Pence: Corporate Theocrat" was also a a label for a while. "Insidious," "Vicious" and "Evangelical from Hell" also turn up in headlines about him.
2) Pence kept a low profile as VP, not much there to talk about. They were too busy going after Trump, so they didn't pay much attention to Pence.
3) I wouldn't vote for Pence, but I don't exactly hate him or regard him as being a traitor. He was put in an impossible position and in far over his head.
That comment and a few more like it - made those of us living in Florida safe - and became part of the mosaic that sent Antifa and BLM packing to more gullible states.
ATTENTION MSM —
<><>2022 Repub wave is bigger (more votes) than tea party 2014…
<><>Republicans outvoted democrats 52-46 nationwide…
<><>6 million vote advantage for republicans…
{CITIZEN FREE PRESS HEADER}
That makes perfect sense. And thanks for the double post.
Hah!
How about having leaders rather than kings? For the most part I like DeSantis - happily voted for him on Tuesday. He takes on the press with his brain, not his mouth. But he’s not now the owner of the GOP. It’s surely not Trump’s party either- he’s self-destructing in real time, and I hate seeing it. But I don’t like cults. They drive people mad.
bttt
Look at that banner...”Dem’s exceed expectations” - they are acting like they won, when they lost Congress.
That’s the media narrative, don’t pay any attention to the corrupt media.
