I miss the days of Ibizan Hound rescue where I would have 6 or 8 of them bouncing around the living room.

My last Ibizan, Djinni, passed away 3 years ago at almost 14.

Hrafi is only 5 1/2.

That really hurts.

He is SO strong, vibrant, happy and full of himself that all of this is like some kind of cruel, twisted reality.

May God touch your wonderful furry family member, who wants to live, and is full of life. I pray that dogga will recover fully, and that you will call out to God for peace and help. God sometimes allows painful times, to draw us nearer to Him.

May God bless you, and this special, unique creature who wants to love you for many years longer. Dogs are special indeed, in ways no other animal can be.

Gypsy the Podengo rescue had a very long, full and good life.

She got old dog issues and was kind of senile and partly deaf but bless her heart, she spared me that Terrible Choice and simply went in her sleep.

A dog will give you some of the happiest days of your life, and one of your worst. I pray that your worst with this poor pouch is not soon. You need time to heal from you other loss and time to say good-bye. Yes, there must be dogs in Heaven, or it just isn’t fair.
