Post your observations regarding early voting turnout in your area here.
Small town in MA — turnout seemed heavier than usual. I take that as a sign that non-standard voters (read: Republicans) might be more active.
Not much different than May primaries . . . yet, so relatively light. It’s early, though. Let’s see what happens at lunchtime and after work. We have three check-in stations and ten machines. No line. Never more than five machines in use at the same time. Near downtown South Bend, IN.
SW Ohio here. Turnout seemed normal and average to me. Nothing spectacular or unusual.
Long lines in conservative Evansville, Wisconsin
What time of day should a person vote if he is interested in avoiding the crowds? (asking for a friend)
7 AM, about 10 ahead of us, we moved in and voted, and voters still coming in steadily.
Pulled out of the parking lot around 7 15 or 20.
Cars still coming in.
MOSTLY older retiree types, but some of those retiree types were in working clothes (construction boots, gas well uniforms, etc.
Some younger working clothes types, most of us know each other to nod in recognizance if not friends.
TRUMP COUNTRY.
New York, Putnam county: Went to polls about 6:15 and seemed about normal. Less than a presidential more than a local.
Small town CT. Busy. Steady stream of people.
NW Arkansas, the reddest area in a very red state; WalMart ground zero. Just got home from taking granddaughter to school, swung by a couple of polling places. Turnout seems heavy.
I would say usually morning
One of two machines down at my polling place. No line for the ballot, but 30 minutes to wait to submit it. Madison County, Alabama.
In my area: Republicans vote on Tuesday, Democrats on Wednesday.
I arrived at my polling place at 6:55 am, and was first in line.

I have cousins that live there. On, Wisconsin! :)
We’ll be going mid-morning. Ridgeway Township (near Dodgeville) 300 souls, mostly farmers. :)
I dont worry about it here in this county.
We dont allow scumocrats to run for state, county or local office here.
And I would add that the length of the lines can depend upon how long the ballot is. We had a lot of issues on the ballot and it took a while to get thru.
Rural west central Florida here. Went to the polls at 7:30 this morning. Very low turnout overall, but we suspect it’ll pick up later in the day.
