Time in hospital was under custody so it may be “time served”.
Who stops a car on railroad tracks, ever?
Imagine knowing a train is coming and you’re handcuffed in the back of a car with doors that don’t open from the inside.
Meanwhile, the cops are probably all congratulating and high-fiving each other. I support law enforcement (not so much the FBI anymore), but this is a demonstration of sheer stupidity or a complete lack of situational awareness.
Hot as a pepper, and smooth as a Mexican brew...
The cop should be charged with multiple counts of felony negligence and endangerment.
He parked on a RR track, saw the train coming, walked away without even a cheap attempt at rescuing her, and stood there like a stump and watched her get hit by an iron train with massive momentum.
It’s a miracle she’s alive.
I don’t know if the coward was fired, but most police contracts have a clause for cowardice.
She was arrested for something that hadn’t even gotten violent. Just traffic crap. And he abandons her to a likely horrible death over that?
So when do the cops in CO start doing this routinely to anyone accused of some minor crime? Sure would save on trials and all that stuff. They can be judge, jury and executioner with a ready made excuse! “We didn’t see that train comin. We sorrreee!”
Yea Right.
Holy crap...those cops are terrible. When you get stuck on a train track first thing is get everyone out.
Cops should be charged as well.
This was the first time I watched the video. It is astounding how negligent the police were. They seemed to be casually talking while the train is blowing its horn all it can. Not until the last moments does it occur to them they left the suspect in the vehicle on the track. If only the suspect were black we would have another round of race riots across the country.
Equally astonishing is that she survived. They train didn’t just clip the police car and spin it, it hit full broadside.
Yowza!
Should get off with time served....in the hospital.
Can’t shower on her own, but no “contact phone number” or email for FREEPER Nation volunteer back washers to get in touch.
They’ll try and make her a deal. Do a little time and be rich when you get out.

Yup. They’re trying to pile on the charges to get her to backoff what will undoubtably be a slam dunk case against the city that hired these bonehead officers and nearly got her killed.

It’s worse than that. The car wasn’t stuck, the cops just parked it on the tracks!
WTF!!!! Why would he do that? That’s attempted murder right there.
Unless this woman murdered someone, she should get a free pass…
All I know is that that cop should go down for a serious crime.
Got to love it. Funniest event of the day.
It sure would if somebody who was not a police officer did that.
I’ve never seen anything so stupid! What officer parks on train tracks knowing the train always has the right of way?
And the cop claimed that he didn't know she was in the back of the squad car?
This idiot parked city property on train tracks, in blatant disregard for the city equipment or the train?
Send him a bill and fire him.
Wonder what else has been written off as damaged during his tenure?
The one who did this.
