I probably should have just internalized the wokesters’s steaming pile of bovine excrement instead of reporting it to the board.
One “native” clown (whose ancestors likely migrated to the Americas by crossing the Baring Straight from Asia or by walking up from South America) said that Thanksgiving was a day of mourning for her and her people. Good grief. I was going to tell her to give up all of the white man’s inventions then... like toilets and electricity for starters. LMAO!
Anyway, we have a good vibe going so let’s just move on.
I made another soup today so that I could use up the vegetables that were leftovers from a corned beef and cabbage dish that I had roasted a few days ago.
I bought 3 lbs. of ground turkey, 1.5 lbs. of ground beef, and 1 lb of Jimmy Dean’s pure pork sausage to add to the leftover carrots, potatoes, onions and cabbage.
I cooked all of the meats up in a big pot with a stick of butter, then added 4 large, cubed tomatoes and about a half-gallon of water. Not satisfied I squeezed into the soup about one half the contents of a large container of ketchup and added 4 heaping tbsps. of minced garlic.
Once that got to where I wanted it consistency wise, I added all of the leftover vegetables and let it simmer for a couple of hours.
I will be eating my fourth bowl of soup today, just as soon as I enter this post. Yes, it is quite tasty, which isn’t always the case when I go for a spontaneous concoction bound by what is available to me in the house, as I sometimes will shelter at home for no particular reason.

Lol sounds yummy! I often make pottage and feed on it for a few days. I’m usually pretty sick of it by the time it’s done with, but it’s a pretty efficient way to cook. By the sound of it, you’ll be chowing down on that batch for awhile lol!

Twitter is moving rapidly to establish an even playing field. No more thumb on the scale!
Yesterday, I paid my annual homage to humor by watching the WKRP episode “Turkey’s Away.” It is available on iTunes and I am sure it could be found in other venues as well. As God is my witness, it is well worth a repeat.
That sounds like a great way to have Thanksgiving, dj. A day together, in the country.

I saw this earlier and it just made me sick in the pit of my stomach.
