Quirky fun recollection...
I once lived in a sleepy bedroom community in central Illinois, about halfway between Chicago, and St. Louis.
On Thanksgiving eve, I would take my son out after dark onto a rural two-lane overpass crossing above Interstate 55.
For as far as the eyes could see looking both south and north, there were strings of headlights traveling in one direction and taillights traveling in the opposite direction, connected like beads of a necklace. It was quite the phenomenon, for this particular traveling condition would not appear again as such, but one night a year- Thanksgiving eve.
Another quirky fun recollection of an adult narration was...
Going to a particular watering hole and running into someone that had finally returned to their hometown and family after a long absence, drawn in by the appeal of spending time where one grew up and where their family had continued residing, with the Thanksgiving holiday being a wonderful bonus draw.
One might see someone from the past year in the bar exactly a year to the date later, or see someone from grade school, or from junior or senior high, sometimes barely recognizable, thanks to the passage of a very long time.

Snacking on slices of extra sharp Vermont cheddar cheese, sweet Compari tomatoes- quartered, and a hint of lime-flavored Tostitos tortilla chips, with a big glass of lemonade and a high test IPA to keep me company. Cheers!

I can not believe in my wildest dreams that they will call for a new election. I do think that a new election is the ONLY correct thing to do. Has this ever been done before?

As a kid I had my share of Chef Boyardee products and never really tired of them, even after aging out, as I then experimented with adding ingredients... although lacking creativity as it was mostly just hot dogs cut up into slices.
Thinking back... why was that- oh probably because hot dogs were about all that was available in the fridge when I decided to get creative. Thinking now, that some smoked oysters or clams might have livened up some Spaghettios?

Every school and teacher should be 100% comfortable with parents knowing what they plan to teach their kids. Only the left sees this as a controversial statement. Resistance to transparency in education is a direct reflection of the fact that leftists are running education in 🇺🇸.
We must resist leftism in education by becoming more demanding parents in terms of the transparency we expect from all institutions but especially education. No one can save the next generation but each of YOU. We’re their last defense. If we fail then they fail and we all fail.
It’s a lot of work but we can and must do it. We have to be willing to ruffle some feathers along the way. Saving our country means saving our kids and their education. That’s where it all starts and that’s why the far left made it a priority to control it while many were asleep.
