Amen. Thank you.
Good morning! I’m going to pause the thread and let you all know that I did not make it to the States in time to say goodbye once again to my darling Connie. There was nothing left unsaid between us, nor had we spared hugs and “I love yous” to each other. I spent all the time last night, after landing, with Connie’s (and my) family here in Auburn. The meal was provided gratis by one of the local restaurants here. They loved Connie, too. I am crazy jet-lagged and I am being catapulted into activities today. My brother asked me to appear at the funeral home this morning and so I will. Although I travel with a black dress, I think I need one more, slightly more casual, black ensemble. Some of the gatherings will be at this house and I want to greet people properly. Family from around the US will come in once decisions are made.
Was she a Christian? God has yet to give me an “elector detector” so I don’t know. She and I talked about God a bit. Based on her verbal testimony the answer is yes. Her actions were godly actions. I can only leave the answer in God’s hands, where it has always been. Unless a person explicitly rejects the Gospel, I will err on the side of Christian.
More later.
So very sorry
Thank you. Our times are in His hands. I can leave it there.
One more thing, and I’m just saying it here, I left my place overseas on the next flight out. I traveled for 50 hours to support my older brother and his family. The other siblings are in the states and are yet to appear.
BREAKING NEWS
Mitch McTurdle succeeds in helping democrats turn the Red Wave into a Red Ripple
An amazing story, Rusty, about rushing to your mother’s side.
You certainly are attuned to a different frequency than most.
Good morning, lysie!
Thanks for the chow this morning.
Something is way off about last night, in many areas.
I am sorry you did not get Zeldin as governor.
Morning, lysie!
Thank you for your efforts of fixing breakfast but I just don’t seem to have an appetite this morning.
I am VERY sad and that will turn to anger VERY quickly if Hobbs is declared our next governor.
I am saddened to hear the news about Connie.
You can do no more now for her, but you can for her husband, as you and your husband stand by his side in his grief. I am sure her husband is grateful that you both made such a great effort to be there.
The Lord is the righteous Judge, and He knows the heart of every person. We can leave it to Him to judge rightly.
The older I get, the more I realize that judging is way above my paygrade. I cannot save anyone, I can only share the gospel and point the way to Jesus. Each indiviual is responsible for taking it from there.
Prayers that you both will be beacons of light and hope in a difficult time.
Good morning, LG!
I share your feeling about AZ, here in DE.
I live in a GOP county, and in my state district here , which has been GOP for as long as anyone can remember, went Dem last night, both for assembly and for state senate.
We have SO many transplant retirees from other high cost East Coast states buying all the new homes being built here, and they are bringing their politics with them.
See my post 2662. There is something very off about last night. And if the white hats don’t plan to act now in the face of this and 2020, then they can just go home and stay there.
We’re done.
Praying here for Kari—we desperately need her to win in AZ.
New Q drop in post 2623.
I am hopeful that the meaning of the last line “Taking control.” means thaat the truth about 2020 and 2022 is about to be revealed.
This is not a nation that loves death and destruction and servitude. It is being made to appear so by fraud.
I am so sorry that you didn’t make it in time to say goodbye to your SIL and be by her side as she went home to our loving Heavenly Father.
Sending prayers and love to you, your brother and the family.
Reminds me of an old joke:
"I drank a bottle of invisible ink.
I'm in the emergency room, waiting to be seen."
Up for a quick break….saw this….

Very bad midterm results for Republicans. Yes, we’ll get the House which should help us hog-tie Biden’s agenda for the rest of his term. But the Senate? Who knows? GOP did so much worse than we should have, given the wreckage of Biden’s policies

So sorry your county went dim.

How is it that the people of Georgia knew the results for Stacey Abrams early but they are still counting votes for Warnock, and both were on the same ballot?
