Exactly. An A-10 isn’t “massive”.
Hell, even the F/A-18 Growlers aren’t massive.
Since the Antonov got blowed up in Ukraine, the C-5M is the biggest in the world.
But I’d still rather have an A-10 or a C-130 Smokey to protect me.
/That or a MQ-9 Reaper...

Strange that you should mention that- I too saw something really strange late this morning, above Pflugerville’s Austin Executive Airport- I saw one of those large turboprop aircraft flying in a circle for about 45 minutes, seemingly going nowhere. Looking back on it, I think maybe he was going up gradually, then took out in a westerly direction. He must have made at least 12 or 15 laps before leaving the area.
