Sorry that this Ohio only, but I’m in Ohio. I’d love to read about comparative data in other states. Hint. Hint.
It is Thursday, and thus the weekly ‘rona update is out on the Ohio Health Dept. tracker.
So far, 600,618 Ohioans have gotten the new bivalent ‘rona vaxseem.
This compares to 405,446 who got the 2nd booster by the same weekly point in its availability.
Caveat: I don’t remember when exactly the 2nd booster was available to those under 65 and then to under 50. I think, correct me if I’m wrong, the bivalent vaxseem is currently available to all adults (and has been so since the beginning) and now was just made available to kids.
Sooo, 5% of the Ohio population of roughly 12 million are bivalent jabbed as we speak. If some pesky clerk calls out to me from the pharmacy section of the grocery store to ask me if I want my jab while I’m getting my Claritin D, I’ll be sure to say I’m going to go with the crowd of 95% who said “Nope. I’m not going to be a dope.”
I may have to work this into a slogan on the back of a sweatshirt, but I should probably wait a few more weeks to see how the statistics shake out by then.

There is an up to date TV version of ‘3 Days of the Condor’ which I viewed a few months ago. It was on NETFLIX or Prime, cannot recall which. I do not think that I saw it all as it must have been limited time available. I think that it was ‘6 days of the Condor.’
I might check again to see if it is back.
BTW, I dumped Netflix many months ago but someone in the household renewed it and it showed up on my ROKU, so I still have it.
There is a TV show called “Condor”, which is available on the Epix channel. It is based on the novel “Six Days of the Condor” by James Grady and its 1975 film adaptation “Three Days of the Condor.” There are 2 seasons so far.

The 3rd is incorrect I believe.

Essentially, the government can accept anything it wants to for payment if it’s in it’s interest up and including possibly a “wash” value wise (i.e. won’t take a loss on it or be subject to others fees).
Now that I’m thinking of it, the #1 is essentially a flexible statement. I’m sure that overall there are plenty of players that would accept other currencies for oil, at the moment that is appearing to be any BRICS associated groups. YMMV on any of this as this stuff is changing at an accelerating rate...

Cholera is a third world filth disease. What are they planning to do, put it in the water supply?
The Warthog idea was just a suggestion to get the heavy thinkers in the right zone. The Ukes have/had very respectable manufacturing capability. For the last three decades they made a bunch of the components for Pootin’s heavy vehicles. It just seems remarkable to me that the Ukes have not produced their own version of a buttbusting ground attack aircraft. Europe being a great place for a ground war, and all. And the Ukes have at least one super neat facility to salvage/restore Russian tanks, etc. You’d think they could put something together?

Funny how I have Netflix which I canceled, but now the Epix which I had for years was canceled by someone in the household. It would be hypocritical for me to complain about fewer Channels as I have been saying ‘dump them all’ for years.
At least I saw most of that series back last year or whenever.
I think the problem is that the Russians keep blowing up their factories. Especially now - they’re PO’ed about the bridge, I think.
