HI has been corrupt since it became a state. Communists decided it would be a great state to control since it was brand new, so many moved there, from the mainland and other countries. And then there’s the Hawaiian mafia.... the tourist $$ is a huge pollutant. When the state was mostly agricultural it was much cleaner.
Gabbard Sr was a Republican for years, but changed to Democrat since he was running for state senator. R’s just do not win there. He’s still as conservative as he ever was. I read about HI news as I still have a lot of friends there.

I actually watched monkeywerxus today.
He was flight tracking and was cagey about any details, would not show on Sky Glass the actual flights in progress, but he has been informed that certain flights may or may not be transporting always soldiers & equipment to and from, but arms and ammunition instead. Out of country.
The 15 minute mark is a good place to start viewing global war flights and shipping has halted 75% from China, (so brace thyself for coming dogfood and plastic shortage).

By this new “logic” for a vaccine for those childhood illness, the flaw is if the vax doesn’t last lifelong you have NO NATURAL IMMUNITY to protect you as an Adult.

As an RN, I took care of a patient that developed an itchy rash during his stay. It was determined to be shingles. I had chicken pox as a kid but wasn’t too worried. The day nurse however was a young girl, about 8 weeks pregnant. A few weeks later she suffered a miscarriage.
A few years later, I was caring for a patient known to have shingles.I expressed my concern to the charge nurse making the assignment for the day shift to be sure to avoid giving this patient to any nurse that might be pregnant. She rolled her eyes and assigned a sweet young girl that has just discovered she was expecting.a few weeks later, the miscarriage occurred. My heart was broken.
A year later that nurse was blessed with a beautiful baby. She did not return to work and became a wonderful mom.

Could be but she’s a politician and IMO goes whichever way the winds blow, like most politicians. With the red wave coming she is trying to have a make-over and she’s still pro abortion, pro gun control, pro single payer health care, which aren’t Republican nor conservative values.
She is a 2004 grad of the YGL WEF and never said anything TMK about Hawaii’s draconian Covid crap. As with anyone, especially politicians, watch what they do, not what they say. The crimes against humanity committed by the WEF make her just as guilty as the rest of the WEF IMO. Using WEF membership for personal gain at the expense of the rest of humanity.
Taliban names former Guantanamo detainee deputy interior minister

The Taliban has named Mohammad Nabi Omari, a former Guantanamo Bay detainee who is also a senior leader in the Haqqani Network and maintains close ties to Al Qaeda, to serve as its “first deputy” to Sirajuddin Haqqani, the Minister of the Interior. Omari was one of the notorious “Gitmo Five” detainees who were freed in exchange for Bowe Bergdahl, a U.S. soldier who deserted his post and was captured by the Taliban. His appointment highlights Sirajuddin’s consolidation of power in Afghanistan’s interior ministry.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid announced Omari’s appointment on Oct. 6, 2022 along with the shuffling of other appointments, including provincial governors and other key Taliban leadership positions. Omari previously served as the Taliban’s governor of Khost, one of several important provinces in eastern Afghanistan that is dominated by the Haqqani Network [see LWJ report, Taliban’s government includes designated terrorists, ex-Guantanamo detainees].
Omari is one of several key Haqqani Network leaders to be appointed to top level posts in the Taliban’s new government. In addition to Sirajuddin, who is the minister of interior, Khalil al Rahman Haqqani is the minister of refugees, Mullah Taj Mir Jawad is the first deputy of intelligence, and Haji Mali Khan is the governor of Logar.
Omari was captured by U.S. forces in Afghanistan in 2002, detained at their prison in Bagram, then transferred to the Guantanamo Bay detention facility, where he was held up until 2014. After he was freed, Omari was transferred to Qatar, where he continued to work with the Taliban and even served on the Taliban’s negotiating team with the U.S.
Omari has a long history of supporting the Taliban and its dangerous subgroup, the Haqqani Network, which is listed by the U.S. as a Foreign Terrorist Organization for its close ties to Al Qaeda and other terror group.
.....He was also a “close associate” of Jalaluddin Haqqani, Sirajuddin’s father who passed away in 2018, and worked with the Haqqani Network. Sirajuddin, who is listed by the U.S. as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist for his ties to Al Qaeda and other terror groups, serves as the one of Taliban’s two deputy leaders and is the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s interior minister. Sirajuddin is arguably the most powerful and influential Taliban leader and has also been described by the United Nations Sanction and Monitoring Team as “an Al Qaeda Leader.”
