We Owe California’s Patriots an Apology
I am just as guilty as the next guy.
“I hope those Californians don’t bring their bad ideas to Texas.”
“They deserve what they get for voting themselves into that mess.”
“Maybe one day soon California will finally detach and float off.”
While some of these barbs are spoken in good humor, they are laced with political resentment that, after the 2020 quasi-election, has been proven to be unjustly held.
Simply put, Californians have not voted themselves into this mess. Sure, they probably got the ball rolling in the nineties by electing some dirtbags, but most were naïve to the political world until the Trump era kicked off seven years ago. Notice that I am not saying I think Trump won California in 2020, although many think he did. I did attend the massive San Diego boat parade in September 2020 and felt the energy. I have no doubt California is much closer than people think.
The state’s political hopes groan under the departure of lost Republican voters, which is verified by registration records and the obvious fact that two out of every three new neighbors showing up in your subdivision is a Trump-flag waving Golden State refugee.

I'm not jabbed, but after a hugely stressful event about 10 days ago, I developed shingles. The blisters came out yesterday, so today I was at urgent care.
The nurse that checked me in had a new trainee with her. She told her to keep back and not touch me, as she had "had the vaccine." That piqued my curiosity, so I asked, "What vaccine?"
"The chickenpox vaccine. We've been getting tons of cases of twenty-year-olds with shingles in lately."
Me: "Because of the chickenpox vaccine?"
Her: "Yeah. We think it's because they had the vaccine when they were kids and it's wearing off now."
Me (harrumphing in my head): "So they're catching chickenpox or shingles?"
Her: "They're coming in with shingles. We don't usually see 20-year-olds with shingles."
Me: "So they vaccinated for chickenpox and instead are getting shingles."
Her: "Yeah."
Me: "How long has that been happening?"
Her: "We started seeing it last year."
Me: "Interesting."

Before the chickenpox vaccine became available, about 4 million people got chickenpox each year. Did your average 25 year old get the chicken pox vaccine in 1995 when they were 8? Or had they already had chicken pox by then?

Another thing... the el presidente in Nicaragua gave Russia carte blanche to send soldiers in to assist in the event of “natural disaster” and “crime control”. They should be there by now.
I posted the news here, but can’t remember the news source. Have not heard a peep about it, since. Weird.
I posited something to the effect that Russia might help a returned Trump to together from both directions, squeeze the cartels out of Mexico, from the south, and help end the human and child trafficking.
Next came the “special operation”, by Russia, but it was into the UKR?
