Both unvaccinated. They are taking ivermectin and the supplements, but can’t stop coughing and getting rid of phlegm.

Just a side note to start with: There's no valid test for Covid. The Covid PCR was based on the influenza virus. Deep State could blanket us with influenza after influenza to keep the appearance of pandemic going.
Maybe Mucinex to help clear lungs and an over the counter inhaler (e.g., albuterol?) to help reduce inflammation in the lungs.

Greeneyes had significant lung problem and was always on oxygen 24/7. She said NAC helped with the inflammation, helped her breathe better.
Before I was properly diagnosed with chemical allergy, I kept having lung inflammation flareups. Everyone else would get over the flu but I would have it for months or get it again. Docs were giving me stronger and stronger antibiotics until mine was talking about very toxic AIDS-class drugs and at that point I went to a pulmonary specialist who said I didn't need, and hadn't needed, antibiotics for months.
The initial illness caused lung inflamation so while the infection resolved, the lungs remained irritated and ripe for second infection, which I usually got. At the time the solution was short acting inhaler to reduce swelling enough to get meds in there, and long acting inhalter (ADVAIR) which is topical cortosoid (I think) to reduce inflamation. It worked.
My point being, it's possible irritation is keeping it going and making the inflammed tissue ripe for secondary infections or symptoms that look like secondary infection.
For influenza type things, I tried high quality (or so I though) Echnicea with some success. Old stock at CVS didn't work but 'fresh' stock at health food store worked. I read it reduced 'excess congestion' which...sounds a little odd. What does 'excessive' mean here? When I tried it, it did eliminate the coughing/congestion and I was thankfully able to sleep at night, and yet I had the fever and body aches for a few days so it didn't address underlying illness, but helped make me comfortable.
I do remember my entire family having some awfully respiratory illness from Thanksgiving to Christmas (ah, the holidays). Hot tea and honey at least comforted us.
Note that the Zelenko's protocol had stratified high risk patients into a treatment which considered it useful to use both HCQ and Ivermectin at the same time as needed. While your peeps may not have HCQ, it points to layering a second med in there if available. There were other add-ons that only a doc would know how to use or mimic, so some peeps need extra support to resolve their illness.
It's creepy but now that Zelenko's deceased, his website is gone and the search results show more refutation or marketing re his protocols and less straight up Zelenko protocol info. How the deep state hated him! I know I have his protocol around here somewhere. For now, here's FLCC's website info if they want to investigate:

I find it annoying that the PCR test is universally thought to be the Covid test. Even family members who are registered nurses don’t seem to understand the differentiation. There’s been just so much media disinformation and lies put out that it seems almost hopeless to me
