Iranian Regime national tv Channel One hacked about an hour ago. During a broadcast of Khamenie speech, a red crosshair appeared over his face and chanting of Women. Life. Freedom. There was writing to the side saying "Rise up. Join us". Also 4 photos at the bottom of the screen of young people killed and additional writing: "The blood of our youth is dropping from your paws".

Also, there was a huge banner in the middle of Tehran highway today that read: We are no longer afraid of you. We will fight.

Also, attempted attack on IRI ambassador in Denmark. Her bodyguard was stabbed. Diplomatic Security intervened before the attacker could stab the ambassador.

Reports On Past Assassination Attempts Keep Appearing In Iran Media

For the second time in less than a week, Iranian media have disclosed hitherto unknown secrets about assassination attempts on the country's former presidents.

Although the coincidence could be the result of rivalry between various media outlets to come up with scoops, the question “Why now?” remains valid.

In the absence of official explanations about why these reports are being published now, some conspiracy theorists maintain that the publication of successive reports about the assassinations may be intended to scare regime insiders who occasionally criticize Khamenei and his hard-headed resistance to change while the country is in deep political and economic crisis.

Intersting that Hassan Khomeini is here. Is he planned to replace Khamenei?

This is his background
:

THE NEW REPUBLIC Khamenei vs. Khomeini by Ali Reza Eshraghi
Has Supreme Leader expedited his own fall by touching the third rail of Iranian politics?
Post Date August 20, 2009

Khomeini's son Ahmad was a strong critic of the Iranian regime after his father's death. Six years after Khamenei became supreme leader, Ahmad made a blunt speech expressing his views; a month later, he passed away suspiciously at age 49. (The official position is that Ahmad's death was caused by a heart attack, though independent Iranian journalists claim that he was likely assassinated by the Iranian intelligence service.)

Ahmad's children seem to share his distaste for Khamenei. Hassan, who is the most prominent of Khomeini's grandchildren and is in charge of his grandfather's mausoleum, met personally with Mousavi and supported his call to cancel the election results. Hassan also skipped Khamenei’s formal endorsement of Ahmadinejad—widely interpreted as a slight against the Supreme Leader. In February 2008, in an interview with weekly magazine Shahrvand-e-Emrooz (which was later shot down by the government), Hassan spoke out against military interference in politics. Soon after, a publication tied to Ahmadinejad attacked him in an article, “The Secret of Hassan Khomeini's Red Cheeks,” accusing him of corruption. According to daily newspaper Kargozaran, this was the first time in the history of the Islamic Republic that a member of Khomeini's Beit was publicly insulted. A few days later, the elderly Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Tavassoli, former head of Khomeini's office and Khomeini's personal secretary, reportedly died of a heart attack while complaining angrily about this insult.

Iran Update, April 24, 2023

Strike activity among Iranian petrochemical, copper, and steel industry workers increased significantly in response to worsening economic conditions.
At least 14 protests occurred in 13 cities across 12 provinces.
The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on April 24 that Russian ships are ferrying Iranian ammunition across the Caspian Sea to resupply Russian troops fighting in Ukraine.
Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al Sudani is trying to remove four provincial governors from office, likely to sideline political opposition, especially Iraqi Sunnis.

Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei briefly lost control of his audience during a speech to Basij students, indicating the degree to which dissatisfaction has spread among parts of the Iranian regime's most loyal factions.[1]
Western Persian-language outlets circulated leaked footage of the speech on April 22. The footage showed a Basij university student in the audience interrupting Khamenei’s speech, shouting “[regime officials] do not listen to the people's voice.” Khamenei appeared to dismiss the student, leading the other audience members to reportedly protest Khamenei’s response. These audience members called on Khamenei to respond to the student's grievances, after which Khamenei abruptly ended the speech.[2] The outbursts from the audience are remarkable given that the regime likely vetted each participant thoroughly beforehand, permitting only individuals who ardently support the regime to attend the speech.

It is similarly remarkable that an actor with access to the supreme leader's office leaked the footage, indicating further frustrations among some regime elements. The circumstances of the leak suggest that someone with access to the footage sought to undermine Khamenei by publishing it. The Office of the Supreme Leader omitted the exchange in an edited recording of the speech published on Khamenei’s website on April 18.[3]

Social media users have speculated that the regime or some other actor planted the Basij university student in the audience to interrupt Khamenei, but a much simpler explanation is that Iran's worsening domestic conditions are spreading frustration even among the regime's most loyal supporters. This explanation is consistent with CTP’s previous assessments about widespread dissatisfaction within the regime. CTP observed on October 30, 2022, that the regime appeared concerned about the morale of its security forces during the Mahsa Amini protest wave.[4] IRGC-affiliated Fars News Agency reported on October 19, 2022, that two percent of detained protesters were government employees.[5]

IRGC Coordination Deputy Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naghdi tried to downplay the possibility of dissent within the regime in a televised interview on April 23. Naghdi emphasized the respect that the security forces’ personnel held for Khamenei.[6] Naghdi described Khamenei as among the “most outstanding” world leaders whose loyal soldiers always “accept his word as superior.” It is noteworthy that Naghdi, in particular, made these remarks. Naghdi has held several prominent roles in which he has been responsible for the Basij Organization and the indoctrination of armed forces personnel. Naghdi was the Basij commander from 2009-16 and the IRGC deputy for cultural and social affairs from 2016-19.

Iran's Conservatives Fear Losing Upcoming Elections

Mohammad Mohajeri, a conservative himself and former editor of hard-line daily Kayhan, has said in an interview that conservatives believe the current government has left such a bad record that its opponents are highly likely to win the next parliamentary and presidential elections.

“However, their fear may be baseless as the supporter of reformists and a large part of Iranian voters are not willing to take part in the elections,” Mohajeri said, adding that nonetheless, conservatives will continue their smear campaign against relative moderates such as former President Hassan Rouhani, former Majles Speakers Ali Larijani and Ali Akbar Nateq Nouri.

Meanwhile, Mohajeri said in another interview that Iran's reformists and conservatives have influence only among 15 to 20 percent of the society. He also charged that 90 percent of Iran's Friday Prayer Imams belong to the conservative camp and the Friday Prayers are a podium for only one political faction.

A member of the Iranian parliament's national security committee says 95 percent of lawmakers regret having called on Ebrahim Raisi to run for President in 2021.

Characterizing the Raisi administration as “a generally weak government,” Shahryar Heidari told Khabar Online website on Wednesday, April 26 that the lawmakers who advocated Raisi’s candidacy in the presidential election wish to apologize to the Majles (parliament) and the nation for their decision.

Heidari particularly criticized the government's economic team and characterized it as “inefficient.” He said: “During the past days, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei told the Majles once again that the country's number one priority is solving economic problems.”
Saedi said that the people have many complaints about their economic and financial problems adding that they are disturbed and angry. He said: “Once we used to say that the people are unhappy about the 30-percent annual inflation rate, but now inflation rises between 10 to 30 percent during one month and this has robbed Iranian families of their power to plan for their lives.”

Is Iran's government behind the mysterious poisonings of schoolgirls? | DW News

Families in Iran are accusing the authorities of failing to stop a months-long series of poison attacks on schoolgirls. More than 13,000 cases of gas poisoning have been registered. Amnesty International says the attacks have targeted 300 girls’ schools. Some government critics believe the poisonings are retaliation for last autumn's nationwide anti-regime demonstrations. But it's not clear who is responsible. Iran's Supreme Leader Ayotollah Ali Khamenei has described the poisonings as an ‘unforgivable crime’.

Iran Update, April 28, 2023

President Ebrahim Raisi will visit Damascus on April 3 to initiate several economic projects, possibly to reinvigorate Iran's economy by securing resources outside of Iran.
Protesters in Zahedan, Sistan and Baluchistan Province called for a referendum following prominent Sunni cleric Abdol Hamid’s weekly Friday prayer sermon on April 28, underscoring the extent to which the idea of referenda has permeated the Iranian political discourse.
At least two protests occurred in two cities across one province on April 28.
Western Persian-language media reported that pro-regime actors have been issuing hijab observance warnings to women across Tehran, citing eyewitness accounts.
Pars Special Economic Energy Zone CEO Sakhavat Asadi threatened to dismiss workers who participate in strikes on April 28.
Foreign Affairs Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian stated that Iran and the US concluded a prisoner exchange agreement 13 months ago during a press conference in Beirut on April 28.
The US military is equipping A-10 Warthog aircraft in the Middle East with 250-pound “bunker busting” bombs to deter Iran.
Several Shia Coordination Framework party leaderships held separate meetings with a Kurdistan Workers Party (PUK) delegation, likely to negotiate Kurdish support for the proposed 2023-2025 budget.

The Intelligence and Security Ministry (MOIS) downplayed ongoing poisoning attacks in Iranian schools in a report published on April 28.[21] The MOIS blamed ”mischievous” students using pepper spray, tear gas, stink bombs, and other non-toxic substances for the “malaise” students experienced and emphasized that reported poisoning incidents did not involve poisonous materials. The MOIS also blamed foreign outlets for spreading mass hysteria by reporting school incidents as poisonings reported poisonings on foreign actors. The regime has continuously failed to halt school poisoning attacks, demonstrating that it is either incapable of protecting students or that it is tolerating these attacks, as CTP has previously assessed.[22]

https://www.understandingwar.org/backgrounder/iran-update-april-28-2023

The link 21 is this https://www.farsnews.ir/news/14020208000518/ It's a long document from MOIS in Persian, but it looks like it's edited to make it politically correct. My guess is that they have removed the juicy parts of the original report as it cannot be shown, even to government officials. What remains is gibberish about foreigners and foreign media and some probably real parts about copycats.

There are several comments at the end of the article, and it may be interesting to read them continuously and see what is removed.

Iran Pressures Family To Remove Hijab-less Picture From Tombstone

The cemetery removed scores of gravestones which had pictures of deceased women without veils.

The director of the Behesht-e Zahra cemetery, Saeed Ghazanfari, had stated that the procedure will continue in the future “in accordance with the opinion of [religious] scholars” until all the gravestones with such pictures are removed.

The Iranian regime has also closed at least 2,000 businesses since late March for female customers or staff refusing to wear compulsory hijab, while tens of thousands have lost their jobs.

On May 3 at approximately 6:20 a.m. local time, Panama-flagged oil tanker Niovi was seized by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy (IRGCN) while transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

The oil tanker departed Dubai and was transiting from the Arabian Gulf toward the port of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates when a dozen IRGCN fast-attack craft swarmed the vessel in the middle of the strait. The IRGCN subsequently forced the oil tanker to reverse course and head toward Iranian territorial waters off the coast of Bandar ‘Abbas, Iran.

A previous incident occurred six days ago when the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy seized Marshall Islands-flagged oil tanker Advantage Sweet while it transited international waters in the Gulf of Oman.

Iran’s actions are contrary to international law and disruptive to regional security and stability. Over the past two years, Iran has harassed, attacked or interfered with the navigational rights of 15 internationally flagged merchant vessels. Iran’s continued harassment of vessels and interference with navigational rights in regional waters are unwarranted, irresponsible and a present threat to maritime security and the global economy.

If any country’s population deserves a “real” revolution it is Iran.

By “real” I mean an outcome like the French Revolution, with hundreds of wrong-doers hanged or otherwise eliminated and replaced by sane, reasonable leaders.
