Jeffrey Sachs: Rest Of The World Thinks The U.S. Probably Sabotaged The Nord Stream Pipeline, But It Doesn't Show Up In Our Media

A Bloomberg TV host pushed back against Columbia University economist Jeffrey Sachs on Monday when he suggested that the U.S. and Poland are probably behind the destruction of the Nord Stream pipeline.

"A lot of the world is watching these events in horror," Sachs said. "They view this as a horrible clash between Russia and the U.S. They don't see this, as we do in the media, as an unprovoked attack by Russia on Ukraine."

"Most of the world doesn't see it the way we describe it. Most of the world is just terrified right now, frankly," he added.

"The European economy is getting hammered by the sudden cutoff of energy. And now to make it definitive, the destruction of the Nord Stream Pipeline (which I would bet was a U.S. action, perhaps U.S. and Poland). That is speculation."

Sachs said: "I know it runs counter to our narrative, you're not allowed to say these things in the West, but the fact of the matter is all over the world when I talk to people, they think the U.S. did it. Even reporters on our papers that are involved tell me 'of course' [the U.S. did it], but it doesn't show up in our media."

SNIP

JEFFREY SACHS: Well, first, there is direct radar evidence that U.S. military helicopters that are normally based in Gdansk were circling over this area. We also had the threat from the U.S. [President Biden] earlier this year that "one way or another we are going to end Nord Stream."

We also had a remarkable statement from Sec. Blinken last Friday in a press conference where he said "this is also a tremendous opportunity." That's a strange way to talk if you're worried about piracy on international infrastructure of vital significance.

Watch the first 15 min. of Tucker's Monday show.

SOS Blinken admits we did it and then Petraus addresses how we'll contain the Russian response....

Utter stupidity of the Left's planned suicide of America....

LOL...it helps NATO (and by extension the US) if it keeps the Germans from seeking terms with the Russians, rather than freezing and collapsing economically this winter.

It’s a “now youse can’t leave” act against the Germans.

Our desperate, clinging deep state, globalists and their Democrat stooges want to hold on to their empire, they are weaponizing everything possible - both at home and abroad.

The media masters tell the fools in this country what to think. Rarely do many Americans, including FReepers, look up from that media feeding trough.

I’m wondering that also. Except possibly our relationship with Poland, how does it help the US if the pipeline was barely operational in the first place. And if Russia is trying to signal it is willing to target civilian infrastructure without taking credit it isn’t even a symbolic effort.

But It Doesn't Show Up In Our Media

That's how you know it's true.

Media said we weren't allowed to talk about ivermectin of HCQ. Both turn out now to have studies proving they work.

Media said we weren't allowed to talk about Hunter Biden's laptop. It was later proven to be true.

Just two examples that prove that when the press all circle the wagons to ban discussion on something it is true 99% of the time. That's why they hide it.

The only people who could possibly benefit by blowing the pipeline are the Russians

There were no transit fees on the Nordstream pipelines because they were in international waters, not on any country's territory.

Remember - our Uniparty was milking the Ukrainian transit fees for that sweet sweet grift [Burisma, anyone?].

>Well, first, there is direct radar evidence that U.S. military helicopters...

Not to mention the USN P8 Poseidon that was in the area for several hours at the time of the explosions. Monkey werx had a segment on Friday and Monday showing the flight tracks of the aircraft.

The only people who could possibly benefit by blowing the pipeline are the Russians (if they can blame it on the US)

They would scuttle their biggest negotiating card so they could drag their biggest and best armed rival into open conflict with them? And they benefit from that?

I, for one, say stay out of this conflict. This is NOT our war.

But I feel that NATO wants war. In order to get populations behind it you need fear and panic. That is what I think this pipeline demolition was about. But it isn’t working here.

So..... I fear there may be another one coming....false flag.

If they are, they wont be after a couple months.

An Austrian I have talked to says it is best if you Americans don travel over because you might not be safe in certain areas.

We are getting the blame and certain political orgs are starting to use that to their advantage.

All because of pig face Bidet and crew.

Bingo. It makes it impossible for the Yurps to cave no matter how much they may want to. It takes away any leverage Russia had. Obviously the US benefits from this. Hell, the US was opposed to the Western Europeans buying Russian gas going back decades.

Can you think of any, just one, Republican president who was popular with Europeans?
Nope. Nixon, a conservative crook. Ford, a bumbling idiot. Reagan was an old, dumb actor reading lines. Bush 43 was a dumb, uncouth cowboy.

“Risking nuclear war for US politics is a whole new low for the FReepers supporting Ukraine...”

The only ones threatening to use nukes are the Russians, so talk to the FReepers who are supporting Russia.

(From the article):" Sachs said: "I know it runs counter to our narrative, you're not allowed to say these things in the West,
but the fact of the matter is all over the world when I talk to people, they think the U.S. did it.
Even reporters on our papers that are involved tell me 'of course' [the U.S. did it], but it doesn't show up in our media."

Of course it doesn't show up in our press or media,
but didn't Biden already, verbally, threaten to close the Nord Stream pipeline?
Why else would he use the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to keep the price of petroleum cheaper in the United States prior to the Mid-Term elections,
and yet replace forty-five dollar ($45.00) petroleum with replenishment at eighty-five ($85.00) petroleum.
All this is occurring prior to an OPEC meeting of petroleum exporting nations who are proposing a possible one hundred thousand barrel reduction of production.

The whole reason for the Strategic Petroleum Reserve in the fist place was because OPEC previously chose to reduce production in order to raise the prices of petroleum,
and it was in the US national security interest to have its own reserve as a way to avoid OPEC price gouging and 'price sticker shock' .
The amount of petroleum in the US national Strategic Petroleum is currently at a new low, amidst an immanent meeting of the OPEC nations.
Also, why would the administration attempt to force a reduction of the amount of LNG being exported,
when our European allies are at a winter fuel crisis, above and beyond the Nord Stream destruction ?
This administration just doesn't follow common sense, unless it is trying to provoke another crisis .
