That will be wonderful! I love your thread.
BTW, my husband fell again coming to the kitchen. He grabbed the wine rack of blueberry wine on his way down. Two hit the floor and busted the lids so there he sat in a puddle of wine. I got him out of the wine, pulled a chair over, and told him to SIT. I called my daughter and she and her husband both came home. He refused to let me call 911, again. They put him in their car and are taking him to the emergency clinic to have his ears checked for an infection or vertigo. He acts to me like he’s having mini strokes because he can’t control his hands. His speech isn’t slurred but if you ask him a question, he gives you a weird answer.
While he was sitting in the chair waiting for them, he was flailing his arms around like he was trying to grab for something. I asked him what he was doing with his hands, and he said he didn’t know.
He tries to BS me but he’s afraid of doing it too much to my daughter.
So, he’s on his way to the E. clinic smelling like blueberry wine.
I have picked him up twice today and that’s not normal.
What is his blood oxygen level?
Prayers for you! You are an inspiration.
Prayers for you and hubby!
Sorry to hear about your dear husband. I am so glad your daughter is taking him to the ER. Something is not right. Prayers for you and your family!
He may have an UTI.
Prayers up for your husband, TC. That is strange. Have them check for a UTI as well.
This seems to be symptoms of TIA. No facial droop so likely not ischemic stroke, and rapid recovery (sort of) would rule out hemorrhagic stroke. Once they complete the CT Scan (inevitable) at the E. clinic (?.. donât know what that is) it will likely help with diagnosis. Still, under these conditions, keeping information from attending Physicians is seriously not advised. I wouldnât do that.
Keep in mind that people undergoing strokes actually do think that they sound normal when they speak. Their perceptions are in a sort of disrupted state. It is quite typical. Almost always they will deny a problem is occurring. It is weird.
By now you likely have answers but he may have clotting issues. Dizziness, balance problems, language aphasia, and loss of muscular control are signs.
Praying for you and yours.
Praying for you and your husband.
TC I am so sorry to hear that. Prayers up for your husband! Glad you were there to make him go to the Urgent Care facuility!
I had a stroke and my Msses. forced me to go and I am probably still functional because of that. (A bit off, but still functional!)
