Please research “the pose method” of running.
There are good videos available. This method is not jarring on joints and a natural form. It is the form of distance runners. Ever notice that they have bird legs? Is because gravity pulls them forward, rather than their legs pushing them. Essentially, it is “falling forward, catching yourself with three opposite leg, landing on the midsole, then repeating the process over again. You feet spend very little time on the ground. If you try it, start with a jog and shorten your stride. In no time, you’ll find yourself flying with very little energy expended.

The posts I replied to were suggesting that the pipelines were attacked by a P-8 Poseidon using torpedoes air dropped from altitude using the new HAWWCC system. Regardless of the means used to drop it, the only torpedo carried by the P-8 is the Mk 54 Lightweight Torpedo. This torpedo does not have the capability to differentiate the pipeline from the seabed.
Now, as to who did this, I don't know. I certainly hope that the US was not involved in any way. As remote as the possibility is, I do think the US has at least a marginally better motive than the Russians. Russia had already turned off the gas flow so attacking the pipeline was unnecessary. Furthermore, an attack would mean that they couldn't turn the gas back on (and earn money) if their political aims were realized.
Other people, and nations, do things for their reasons and not mine. I just don't see where it is in their interest. If you have something I would love to hear it.

Great story! Mine was similar. When I retired I weighed 162 pounds. I’m too short for that at 5’4”. I started walking in 5K benefit walk/runs in Knoxville and other places. In my first 5K in Knoxville, I was passed from an old man that jogged by me like I was standing still. When I caught up with him at a refreshment stop, I asked him how old he was. He said 94. I was determined to be him. LOL I was 58.
That led to walking country roads and riding a mountain bike. In 10 months, I was down to 116 pounds and riding a mountain bike 30 miles through wooded trails. You know that in the TN hills, that meant some climbing.
After I hurt my ankle almost 4 years ago, I have slowed way down but I do move. Heck, walking around that big hospital for three days almost crippled me. That place is so big that they have a GPS app to navigate it. I need to lose 15 pounds so I need to step it up.
I hope the home PT can get him moving. He’s moving better today but the Eliquis must make him a little unbalanced and weak in the legs (weaker than normal). He has never been happy about exercise but he’s going to have to start.
No, not yet. I’ll ask the home health person when they come, whenever that is. I have some really good ones that I bought for my ankle but anything that compresses my Achilles tendon makes the pain worse, so I don’t wear them.
