Thanks to all of you for the well wishes and advice.
I rode down yesterday with my daughter and son-in-law but didn’t get to talk to him a lot. I watched him though and something is still pretty off. My daughter is one that controls the room. LOL She babies him and they tend to manipulate each other. I’m not like that. I’m more straight forward.
He started sundowning around dark and after that it’s almost impossible to tell if it’s from the old head injury or from what is going on now. I’m going to take myself down today so that I can talk to him without the interference. I also want to talk to a doctor face to face instead of on the phone.
This hospital is great. He has been here before and it’s the only place he will go. All three of us were able to visit last night, no masks required in the room, and no restrictions. His room is huge! All of the nurses are sweet young things, under 30, and he’s eating that up.
He’s still a little mad at me for making him be there but that’s OK. He was going to kill himself at home. He’s also mad at me because I set up home health to come out three days a week after he comes home AND a PT to come out. He wants to get back in his chair and stay there but the hospital offered to set it up and I accepted.
If he survives this, I will be taking him to the doctor and going in the room with him. He tends to BS about a lot of stuff and with me in there, he can’t do that. It’s almost like he’s ashamed to be weak and not in his right mind at times. He can’t remember a lot, and hasn’t been able to for years, but it’s getting worse. I think he makes stuff up to compensate for memory issues and loss.
Anyway, thanks so much for the prayers and advice!

“PEG ( polyethylene glycol) is in the vaxxes. PEG is of course, antifreeze.”
Ethylene glycol and propylene glycol are the two bases for antifreeze. Their base colors are clear. The various colors are specified by auto manufacturers.

Don’t you try to pin this on me.
I think middle income people are really starting to have to tighten the belt. It ain't easy.
Extra prayers for you.
(I hope your views of the cloud tops are as nice as this one!)
Ah yes... age related issues - which accumulate. When I visited my mother in hospital after her stroke, she thought I was 'the telephone man.' I can well sympathize. I am not the same person that I was a year ago; thankfully, nothing too serious, just easily fatigued and a lot of irritating problems. sigh
Sounds like you may have to consider full time care; a nursing home? Also have the veins in his leg carefully checked, which is probably being done anyway. 😐 Blessings!
