Politicians often pander to their local base by invoking sports teams. Whether they’re actual fans of a team or not, they’ll often mention them because they want to latch onto the goodwill from the community.
Democrat John Fetterman, who is running for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania despite having a stroke that has clearly diminished his ability to think and speak properly, tried to invoke the Philadelphia Eagles during a recent campaign event. He was so excited about it, he invoked them twice in the same sentence. Watch:

There is no way this guy should get more than 30% of the vote from Democrats who know nothing but vote straight party ticket. Unfortunately, most Democrats in Pennsylvania are sticking their heads in the sand if polls are to be remotely believed.
NFL Ping, sorta.....................
Inspired by Brandon...
Proxy voting even if he is in the Capitol.
Well, we now know he qualifies for POTUS.................
I believe the Eagles are above the eagles.
I love “Hotel California” and “Your lying eyes”
is better than

True, if the media would report things honestly. But they will cover for Fetterman just as they cover for Biden. So most folks won’t even know about this latest slip on Fetterman’s part.
They just aren’t the same since Glen Frey died...............
Joe Walsh can’t run a crossing route sober, and Stephen Schmidt can’t pick up the blitz.
Pull all of the Oz advertising statewide and replace it with this video clip on loop for 30 seconds. People make verbal gaffes all the time, especially politicians on the campaign trail, but when Fetterman spent nearly a month trying to milk a single instance of Oz calling a vegetable tray by the fancier name crudites, he’s asking for it.
Well, he’s set the bar pretty low! (Any lower and we would need to dig a trench.)
WOW! He clearly does not have it altogether. No way should he be a Senator.
Best game plan (sans Greatest Hits).
The Eagles (the band) are so much better than the Eagles (the NFL team)??
You know, the thing
Or vice-versa............................
The Eagles are pretty good...I like a lot of their songs.
I agree. The video is that bad.
I’ve always liked Eric Clapner........................... 😎
