Prime just rolls the “FREE” shipping costs in to the cost. I have found on many items Walmart has better prices with free shipping and no membership. Although Amazon has many of the oddball things I have to order once in a while that I can’t find anywhere else. But for food, consumables, and other sundries for the house Walmart is better.

BTW in all my years I can’t remember seeing a coupon for ANYTHING I’d actually choose to buy.

I did, it was for outdated condoms offered at a ridiculously low price.

Biggest mistake I ever made and have been paying for it for the past 15 years.......

You can also type Amazon Coupons in the search bar on the main page and it takes you to the coupons. On the drop down by the search bar you can choose all the departments or just what you are looking for..... :)

I’ve researched stuff on Amazon and then decided on an item. When I go to purchase it the price is a couple bucks more than it was.
Log in with a different Prime account and it’s the original price.

Also bought a mattress there once. Got ads for about 2 months for mattresses. “Hey guys. I got a mattress. Won’t be needing any more.

Amazon has always been weird with pricing. I once bought an IPOD home type ghetto blaster ... uh I mean boom box. The pink model was $200 cheaper than the black model. I decided I could live with the pink one. There was a Robert August skateboard longboard that I fancied. One day the price dropped from $189 to $99.00. By the time I decided to buy the price went back to $189.00 so I backed off but kept checking it. A few months later it was $99 again so I jumped and got it for that price.

We learned quite a while ago that Prime members often are shown higher prices than everyone else.

That's because the cost of shipping is in those prices. Free Shipping is a ruse.
