EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.

Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. It’s not quite that chilly here, with a 57°, but it will only be in the 80s here today. Since having to live in A/C, I don’t even feel like I’ve had summer, but I’ve been here almost a year.
I’ll see how I do on Wordle when I’ve had something to eat.
Here’s today’s effort, for what it’s worth. I had to change up my starting word because it’s been used, so that has slowed me down, because it also forced me to change my secondary word.

Some days, I worry about my mind. Yesterday, my short-term was worse than during the relapse. But it’s still a symptom, so unless it continues, I won’t worry. Too much.
In the several lists that I’ve checked “today’s word” hasn’t been on there. But I check early in the day, so I have no idea when they post “today’s” word. I use it primarily to eliminate a choice. (Is that cheating?)

It’s shaping up to be a nice day, but the matinee movie with my FS isn’t going to happen, so I’ll just sort pills in a few minutes. That’s about all the excitement I can handle for one day!
I don’t know if it’s cheating or not.
Since my previous starter word was the solution once, I’ve been holding my second starter word constant for the day when it’s the solution and I can get another 1-spot.
I finally decided I should check to see if it had been used before. It hasn’t.
This campout is with Envirothon. Cub Scouts will be camping in early November.
It should be a fairly easy event - famous last words - because only five of us are going. James and his hair will be working !!!!
Yeah, I shouldn’t rely on my memory when I’m in a relapse because it always seems to get scarmabled.
How do James and his hair like his job so far? I suspect he’s still in the training stage, but he should be doing fairly well as he has a natural talent for it. He may want to consider horticulture in college. Lots of places need good people in that line. Botanical gardens come to mind.
Well, that’s good! I checked for my second starter word and it hasn’t been used, so I’m good for now.
