EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.
From FaceBook:
Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. He then went back to the mine and got guys to push the car to the guard shack so they could plug in to charge. ... See more

Good morning. Kitteh is proud of you!
Happy Wednesday.
Kitteh probably got a 3 spot today...
Cats are better than we are. Speaking of cats, there’s Shannon on the kitchen mat waiting for her thyroid pill.
Smarter too!
If you think you might have a blood clot you should see the doc right away. If you wait, you should probably take a baby aspirin a day from now to your next appointment. Just suggestions, of course.
Blood clots are deadly, no matter where they are.
I’ve had a DVT in my thigh for years, they think from 2005 after hip replacement. Am on Eliquis, “lifelong”.
Kitteh sez, “Don’t mess wif me!”
Good morning.
Did the pain go away long enough for you to get a good sleep?
FS is definitely coming tomorrow afternoon and even wants some stuff to nosh on while we watch the movie! YAY!! Time with my son! 💖
I hope it’s not a blood clot and that you don’t have to wait a couple of weeks to have it go away.
Wow. Maybe one is “doable” (as you have demonstrated!) but a niece got them after surgery, and then her grandad got them and they were fatal for him.
The subject of blood clots is a scary one for me. I don’t worry about them for myself, because I’ve been on a baby aspirin a day since my late 30s. (I had three TIAs two weeks between each.)
I’m glad yours weren’t fatal!
W00t!
Good job!
Good morning. Happy Humph Day!
We had lots of rain yesterday. Temps were down in the 50s this morning. But we have more rain and warmer temps in the foreguess. I guess it’s an early fall.
Rah-rah-ree
Guess who got a three.

If you’d waited for coffee, you’d have missed it.
“I’m glad yours weren’t fatal!”
At least not yet — LOL! Anything can happen, any time, though. I’m ready, whatever happens, and when.
*sheesh*
Too many words to choose from and I think I went through the entire list.

Now I’m going to go take a shower and watch my sorrows drown over this.
Humbug.
Good job!!
It’s a lot cooler in the early AMs here, now averaging about 55° for the last week. They went from 80-something to the 60s and then the 50s, in just a couple of days. This week, for a change, we have no overcast and no rain.
That’s true with all of us, I think, and some are more prepared than others. I just want mine to be quick, whatever way I go!
OK, I’m up, I’m up.
Surgery this morning, I might be a little scarce today.
According to the interwebs, the only symptom I have is the pain in my thigh, which is also consistent with the ongoing sciatica.
Good luck!
Interesting factoid, pretty much everyone who has had a near death experience no longer fears death.
