EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.
From FaceBook:
Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. He then went back to the mine and got guys to push the car to the guard shack so they could plug in to charge. ... See more

I walked the Pricess at 19 fs this morning. It’s now up to a “balmy” 36 fs.
I really wish this window I sit next to had some insulation.

Good job, Zz!
I’m a latecomer to the game, having only played 263 games. I didn’t even know it was a thing until ArGee began posting his results.
Now it seems to be how I get my brain started, as in: So goes Wordle, so goes my day!
More rain all this week and probably into next week. I need to get back west where it’s high and dry.

We are in a warm stretch here... highs in 70s through the week... now, if we could get rid of these dreary clouds, high humidity, and spotty showers, we would be cooking with gas...

There is nothing in the world like dry heat and a lot of it!
I just lived in the desert too long, so my joints hate this constant wet.

Good morning. It’s nearly naptime here, and not raining. I slept pretty well, after staying up too late.

There is nothing in the world like dry heat and a lot of it! I completely agree, that is why I enjoyed our past Summer here... very hot, but very dry! My bones and joints really appreciate it... More like west Texas...

I’m looking forward to the move, for sure. I can’t recall when I’ve had so much pain for so long. Not even packing for the move was so hard, and that included schlepping lots of book boxes!
The bonus is mountains in every direction but south, which is desert. Who could ask for more? ;o]

It’s been such a gloomy wet day, it isn’t even funny.
The clothes are hanging to dry, but I think that will be a long process, even with the exhaust vent going. Unngh.

It’s been dark, wet and dismal here all day.

I won’t worry about them, because they’re from the frozen north, anyway.
They probably don’t even know what arthritis is....
