EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.
From FaceBook:
Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. He then went back to the mine and got guys to push the car to the guard shack so they could plug in to charge. ... See more

Excellent!
I hope your Sunday is restful.
‘Face
Thanks!
The shower was good and hot and it helped my poor back, but it was only as I was putting lotion on my feet that I realized how swollen they are. Bunny Slippers (aka: Flopsy and Mopsy) will be the footwear du jour.
The birthday meal was chicken salad sandwiches on homemade croissants, and the recipe called for unsalted butter. She used salted and didn’t alter the other ingredients to reflect that change. Plus garlic salt in the chicken salad mix. It was enough.
So I’ll be staying home. I also thought about the length of time I would be there (Pam has meetings before and after) and that would be far too long. A total of four hours, give or take 20 minutes, even if the Other Folks bring me home because PW has choir practice afterward.
Good Sunday Morning!
Nice job on the 3-spot, ‘Face!
I went in the wrong direction this morning and added one to my 5s...

Thank you.
Hope yours is as well.
I think you made the best choice. I had the psalm learned before we left for church, but by the time we were going over it before Mass, I couldn’t find (in my brain) the notes for the verses. It was a difficult one, and DP had changed the key, so the notes on my sheet didn’t match what I was playing, and he couldn’t play the notes I was supposed to sing because he only had the chords, and GAH. I decided to just read the verses, and I’m sure nobody cared.
In view of the migraine following after, (and still with me) it’s much better that I stayed home.
Tomorrow is another day.
And so I’ll see you then.
Have a good night!
Heck, I can screw up musically as badly as that. Let me know when you’re ready to have me do your musical arrangement.
You’d be welcome to stop by any time, Bob. How’s your Spanish?
I know a little French.
Not too helpful.
They’ve always been that way.
Plus ca change, plus c’est le meme chose.
Excellent point.
Good morning, Epople!
It must be Monday, because my brain evidently needed a good scare. I think Wordle this may have done it!

Good morning. Happy Monday!
Here we are. Another week closer to Christmas and the end of 2022. The year is just flying by.
I played my 332nd Wordle today. Close to a year’s worth. After a couple of fours over the weekend I’m back to fives.

Kitteh was too sleepy!
Good morning.
I hope you had a good evening and that you slept well last night.
I sauntered out into a cold rain this morning and scurried back. Then I took a nap.
The migraine is still nagging me.
I think it was tough today because it’s another word we don’t use much over here. But you made it!! Good job!
Great job!
