EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.

Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. FWIW, I adored your Queen and was always an admirer of her. I liked that she wasn’t afraid to try new things, like being in films and a commercial. And whatever else she did that I missed, being so far away!

I didn’t even know she had passed until my daughter sent me a text on her sadness “about the queen.” Then I checked, and sure enough. And as the Irish say, “the sadness was upon me.” Yeah. Pretty sad.

Those of us who watch ,are nervous.
The rest are wondering around in the usual daze.
Luckily the weather is warm, the rain has stopped, so that traditional gloom monger is absent.
The whole city centre is barricaded off, foot traffic and bikes only. A little birdie told me they may become permanent. Only opening for the rush hours traffic.
We shall see, an election is not to far away.

Good morning. I hope you slept well.
Mona got me out of bed just as I was dropping off to sleep. She finally asked me how I managed to get through the really, really rough times in my life, and I told her.
Anyway, my sleep was disturbed. And it’s OK. I don’t mind listening to others. I try not to give advice because that always come back to bite a body. But I do I suggest things that are doable. Life is hard enough to get through without help from someone who cares. Even if it”s just to listen.
