EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.
From FaceBook:
Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. He then went back to the mine and got guys to push the car to the guard shack so they could plug in to charge. ... See more

Good morning. I dreamed about Asuncion texting to say she wants to do more new songs this weekend! Other than that, not too bad. I think Jake was in his own bed most of the night.
I’m thawing out leftovers that I put in the freezer yesterday morning. Astonishing how quickly bros will eat things that are full of cheese and bacon!
Good Saturday Morning!
Hoping that it isn’t too rainy by you... they say that our rain should end by mid-morning, and that we may actually see the sun for a spell by this afternoon! 🤞🏻
I joined you with 2-spot today, ‘Face... it was pretty certain based on the lucky row one...

In my book, cheese and bacon can do no wrong... and when they work together, they can be miraculous...
It seems this was an easy word. Good morning!
I have time to go to Walmart before my first meeting today. Guess I should do it. I’m out of lemonade mix.
My sons like that book, too.
Yes, you are correct!
That sounds more in the category of nightmare than dream!
At least Jake didn't bother you too much.
No leftovers here. No one even asked if I wanted some turkey to take home, but I would love to have had enough for a turkey sandwich.
It’s good to learn new songs, but not too many at one time or in too short a time period.
Good job!
Of course, I always think the success of the game depends a lot on your first word. I’ve found from bitter experience that when I change it up, I lose, massively. So I’ll keep the same word until it pops up as the first word and then I’ll change it.
I agree. It’s easy to confuse things when you do too many at once.
It was, and it seemed to be a bit timely as well...
👍🏻
Indeed it does... the word that I use most often as the starter has already come up... but it does serve to ‘confirm or deny’ many key letters...

I won’t use a word that’s been used because you never know — even one letter variation could give you that one-liner!
Excellent job!!
Giving us a break after Thursday’s twist!
Oh, that’s interesting!
The Other Folks made an impromptu trip to Memphis this morning and didn’t bother to tell me until they were well on their way.
Why am I here?
Anyway, I’m going to head down the hall. The dishes are done, but it took me a while, mostly because of having to stand up. I rested in between for a few minutes, surfing but the day has been rainy all day and it will keep raining during the night. I don’t think there will be much improvement in my back for a few more days. That’s OK. I know where the bed is! ;o]
I hope you have a good night. We had a reasonably successful wedding performance and then went to Hobby Lobby and waited in a long line.
I know you want to go to the Temple, but not so much with your relatives on a long drive in the rain.
