EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.
From FaceBook:
Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. He then went back to the mine and got guys to push the car to the guard shack so they could plug in to charge. ... See more

Happy Fibonacci sequence day, Ganag!
Just when I think I’ll be catching up with the Foursies, I don’t.
Today’s effort seems boring. But then, I could have gone bust on the fourth line and had to go for a Fiver. ;o]

I reached out to my state representative. I put it in terms of, “Are they trying to rip off seniors because they know the seniors may not be able to follow up and their kids won’t have time? Is this exploitation?
Post #2500 is also interesting, Pounce de Leon...

Good morning. Happy Humph Day!
I went today with the feeling that my head was filled with expanding cotton balls. I woke up with the same feeling. Hopefully that’s just weather related. It is cold again. But it’s also put me a bit behind.
Mrs. ArGee decided to enjoy Thanksgiving this year instead of going crazy trying to prepare it. So we’ve ordered a catered meal for us and the in-laws from a local grocery chain. Now she’s concerned they will mess it up somehow. I guess we’ll see. It doesn’t help that her father isn’t one of those, “Well, things happen so let’s make the best of it” types.
I’m back on the FORTRAN train, or whatever. Since I mostly code in Java I think that’s what I need more of today. But here it is. (Android Studio really wants me to switch to Kotlin, but I’m not sure it’s worth the effort.)

I hope you’re not coming down with something. If you do, have a hot toddy without the toddy. It will still clear things up!
I’ve never seen a Thanksgiving or Christmas meal from a grocery store that was a failure. Most of them get rave reviews from all who have ordered. I may do that in the future, but as long as Hungry Man fills the void, I can deal with it. I’m actually looking forward to my first Thanksgiving alone again. Pretty sad.
You had less to work with on your Wordle than I did so good job!!
I’m back from physical therapy. DP and Tom will make Various Food Items, and I will eat them and say thank you.
Yes, it will be like that here. The Other Folks will make the food and I will help consume it and be grateful. I'm always grateful for things that are done to me, for me, with me or because of me. I'm even grateful for opposition in all things!
You too, SG, a Happy Thanksgiving for you and yours!!

Good Wednesday Morning!
I was lucky to get another 3-spot in the effort to catch up to the 5-spots... gap is 4 at the moment...

LOL!!
How much fun was that!! :o])
It must be the new craze.... sweeping all the land!
I think Josh, the site manager, chose the word, which ended up being “foyer.” The receptionist got it on the last chance.
Strange that I haven’t seen “idiot” or “crazy” or “nutso” as winning words yet.
Admittedly, I haven’t tried them yet either.
It could be a coincidence.
