EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.

Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. If I start getting angst over scores, I’ll just stop playing. To me, it’s just a fun little brain teaser to start my day. If I want to stress out over something, I have a job. I don’t let that stress me either. I know I’m good at it and they know I’m good at it. 😏

I exaggerated on the “angst.” If it was that bad, I wouldn’t play. Tense is probably more apt, but some days, my brain has trouble with word substitutions. All the more reason for me to work word puzzles.

I went to Lowe’s and got diatomaceous earth, which the interwebs say will repel whatever is eating my cabbage and broccoli plants.

That’s pretty good, but you’ve obviously been playing longer than I have.
I’ve played 179 games, having only started in April.
I think I started in March. I know it was earlier this year. One of my friends turned me on to it.
I kept watching ArGee post his winning grids here and had to play. It took a while before I found the right one, but yeah.

I’m always wondering if my standard starter word has been used.
It looks longer than I expected, but maybe I just didn’t realize how big a list 449 words is! (Today’s isn’t on there.) You have to scroll down to find it.
