EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.

Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. I had to really struggle with this one, but at least it wasn’t X/6. Of course, I would have taken that one and used it as a learning experience, but it would have been depressing!

Good morning. We have been doing stuff here. After lunch, we’ll try to get the Avalon over to the mechanic. Vlad says it has a Really Bad Sound.
Well Vlad should know about Really Bad Sounds, because he IS a Teen Bro! They’re good at producing them.
I’ve sorted the pills a little earlier than usual, but it seems to have taken me longer because I had to stop long enough to retrieve and open a new container about every other supplement on the list. Wowser. No wonder I hurt! Normally I can get through it before the pain gets to bad but not today.
So I’ll take a short break and then go make my bed.

Thank you. I hadn’t planned on giving cookies to the car, but if we get it back before end of day tomorrow, I’ll give some to the mechanic.
I have been putting around feeling rather exhausted. My respect for people who work on farms increases daily! We’re going back tomorrow.
Now I’m going to make a food meal for supper.
I thought it was the sound that was bad, not the car.
Maybe they were in it together.
Reminiscent of “The Phantom Tollbooth.” I’m trying to think of what other kinds of meals there are and I suddenly remember the light meal and the square meal from that book.
I get that same feeling when I try to pack and/or unpack. It must have something to do with my age. And now, I'm headed down the hall. My FS stopped in for a minute, so he's gone home now. I'll take what I can get.
We usually have a food meal, although some of those are also square.

I dreamed of lightning, thunder and a downpour and my late Unreal Brother. All good omens, but I didn’t like it enough that I got out of bed. I hope I don’t have dreams like that for a while. Whew!
Oh, dear! I finished the book I was reading to Kathleen and another I was reading myself. They can go back to the library on Saturday.

I was thinking this morning, that I’m reading out of two books plus the Scriptures each night, and I think I need to make it just one and the Scriptures. I would probably get a lot more out of it.
