EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.
From FaceBook:
Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. He then went back to the mine and got guys to push the car to the guard shack so they could plug in to charge. ... See more

Good Friday Eve morning, Epople
It was just there for the taking, today.

Some days you get the bear...
Yeah, I would be a little concerned, too, but hopefully, the natural food that you’re using will help The Princess Dog. She deserves to be treated like a Princess!
Good morning. That went really well for you!
I’ve been raking leaves and putting them in the compost bin. I think my compost efforts have been too much food waste and not enough simple plant matter. We’ll see!
Good morning! Way to go on the 2s, ‘Face and ArGee!
I managed a three.

I was able to use a hot spot for the Wordle, and was rewarded with another 2-spot...

(Never had two in a row before!)
Speaking of compost, I read an article yesterday that said GreenPeace has finally acknowledged that plastic recycling is bad for the environment. I wonder if that has trickled to envirothon yet.
Well, when your starting word has 3 out of 5 letters in the right place it’s hard to miss.
Actually, the correct word was once a starting word.
Congrats on the 2s and the 3.
We must be living right...
😂
I never had 2 2s in a row either.
Now my 5s are 7 larger than my 3s. I used to keep those within 5 of each other. 4 is still the grand winner with 117.
If I look sideways my Wordle stats are flipping me off. I guess a bell curve in bar form will always do that.
A couple of my friends have pulled that off, too. That must be a cool feeling.
I have yet to experience that.
My 5s are currently 4 more than the threes... With the 4s far ahead, I have that same normal distribution...
Probably not, although we’ve covered a lot about why market forces and other issues mean that most things that are technically recyclable aren’t actually recycled.
The bunnies sure stand out in the snow.
...I’ve been raking leaves and putting them in the compost bin.
I thought you said, "I've been racking leaves and putting them in the compost bin," and my mind is hearing hundreds of tiny screams...
Thanks!
Good job on the Triple!! That’s still nothing to sneeze at!
Good job on the Double!!
I keep my phone as a hotspot, even though it’s costing $10 a month for the privilege. I just don’t want to be without it, these days. Too many things can go wrong.
Greenpeace is a terrorist organization and always was.
In this case, it’s also actually environmentally harmful to recycle plastic - at least according to the article.
That’s because they’re dumb bunnies. When there’s snow out I sit inside.
Which is why it’s remarkable they admitted recycling plastic is bad for the environment.
Of course, they came up with an alternative. Ban plastic.
