EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.

Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. Jake didn’t bother me. The other person had a late work activity, and I think he’s still asleep. If he doesn’t get moving soon, I’ll have to go to physical therapy in what I slept in. I want my own room.
Yes, your own room would be nice. There are days I’m very glad I live alone. Other times, not so much.
One of my nieces in ID asked me to interpret her dream for her. It was another one of mixed signals. She’s recently divorced, after the guy she was so in love with turned out to be a controlling jerk. I coulda told her. But she’s found a new guy and dreamed about him, and she wanted some answers. I’ve almost forgotten what it was like to be her age.
Anyway, that kept me up for a bit and then two spam calls. I keep blocking numbers, but they come in from all over the country. I don’t know what the former owner of the number did for a living, but whatever it was, she owes a lot of money to a lot of people! And she’s trying to sell her house.
The whole family is about 3 hours off my schedule now. It’s very inconvenient. If it was just the youth, I wouldn’t have to put off everything for 3 hours, but it’s not. I should have gotten my clothes ready downstairs before I went to bed. Drat.
I’m sorry about your niece’s relationships. My suggestion would be to get a small pet, like a fish, and do good works, and enjoy having your own room.

She’s got the sweetest little boy toddler, now. She’s a clever girl and is full time with the Scouts in the Teton area, so she has a lot of room to have her own room.
She’ll probably get a dog, but I doubt they’re cat people. At least her mother isn’t. Poor girl.
I’m waiting for the water to heat so I can shower, though at the moment, that seems like more than I can handle. I’ll have to muddle through, though. And crank the moon up a notch.

Good morning. Happy Humph Day!
We’ve decided to put the Princess on The Farmer’s Dog only. Her liver values in her blood have gotten much worse and liver issues can cause seizures, so we’re taking her off the chemicals in the prescription food. We’ll see how that goes.
And if inflation gets worse, her food is people tested.
I cut it down to 4 today. No 2-fer for me.
