EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.

Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. Speaking of whom, PW and FS just left a few minutes ago. I asked them to pick up a box for Goodwill and they both came in and invited themselves to sit, so all is well in La-La Land. I guess.
FS will be back later. But he still hasn’t said why. They came to ask about Thanksgiving, and do I want to do this or that? Since when am I included? Ohwell. I’ll take the good when it comes to me!

Yes, a lot of them have been that this week! I think it’s the double-letter dilemma. There were four this last week.
I don’t know that any of us take offense at that, though, truth be known, because we’re just all sort of a family here, and we know who you mean when you greet just one of us.

At least nothing terrible has happened yet. I figured the “Like” or “Love” I was seeing was an automatic thing of some kind, but I didn’t realize it was an Apple function until I read about it.
iPhone users also see texts from other manufacturers’ phones in another color, letting them know you’re not in the tribe. This is actually a Thing teens and young adults care about, according to the Journal.
Well, I have several relatives with iPhones, so I’m not surprised. I can’t even afford a refurbished on, and don’t think I’d want to try to get used to it. The Android is hard enough to navigate on.

I’m hoping I feel better after a shower. Insomnia struck again. Looks like I just barely got out of the relapse and I’m back in again. But I know what caused it and what to do about it, so I’ll just lay low and wait for it to pass.
I’ll be staying home from church today.
All the cat. Pretty good evening. Frank won a card game. Sleep featured loud talking from the other person and Jake on the pillow a number of times. I’m going to Walmart in a while to get some food the cats like before I lose some extremities.
