EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.
From FaceBook:
Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. He then went back to the mine and got guys to push the car to the guard shack so they could plug in to charge. ... See more

Cute!
Howya! Back from the physical therapist followed by reading to Kathleen until now it’s almost lunchtime.
I walked through a spiderweb on my way to the van, and halfway to the PT, I found the spider in my hair.
Works for me!! I’ll probably end up doing the Icelandic version after ....
I love that frog!!
Yeah, I get it. Great minds get bored easily. So life will go on and you’ll find another game to pique your curiosity and you’ll be off and running. With Tyson on the other end of the leash! ;o]
You needed a frog to eat the spider...
Yeah, that’s a classic! Thanks!
(After 35 years in the desert, I hate to be cold. Actually, I think it was that deep shock in 1969 that does it still. I was never so cold in my life and I can’t get warm very easily.)
Well, two more weeks until Day of the Dead. Maybe the spider was in hopeful anticipation.
:ducking and running:
But EEWWWW!
w00t!
Good morning, all!
That sucks that the rain mostly stayed away from you, zzeeman. We didn’t get as much as they predicted, but I think it might have been close to an inch. We’ll take it!
“Like, ‘That word has some of those letters. Let me try that.’ That was on Line Two.”
Heh! That’s definitely the method that went in to my four today.

That kitteh has a very serious facial expression. (So cute!)
Good job!
Some days, it’s not that simple for me and I really have to work. But I’ll take most days that I don’t go X/6.
Now, I need to see if my bed will cooperate while I try to put it together so I can sleep tonight on clean sheets.
It was a bit of a surprise.
Actually, there was a bit more overnight than I first thought... somewhere around 0.15 to 0.20 inch... every lit bit helps to keep the dust down a bit...
I would have been doing the Dance of the Dead On Hot Coals had it been me. I don’t like my hair messed with to begin with, and anything that gets in it is going to die. Frightfully fast and with lots of sound effects.
Quite by accident, I found that my Pi plate, which is too small for an actual pie, is just about perfect for a salad with lots of goodies in it. I may get another one, since it looks almost indestructible!
Also, T-c, in your craft knowledge, do you know if Mod Podge can be used as a sealer? I think it can, and I want to use it to seal the vinyl script to the tile I did Saturday, but I want to be sure. If so, then I’ll seal it with two coats and then add a piece of felt to the back to keep it from scratching anything, in case its ever off the easel.
I did a search on the ‘net, but the answers were many and confusing.
(Actually, anyone can jump in here and answer that!)
I would be happy to answer that question.
Unfortunately, I have no idea what a Mod Podge is or what it does. For that matter, I’m not familiar with an Un-hip Podge either.
The library employee who does the art classes was going to use Mod Podge to seal the sculptures the kids made last week, so I assume it would work on your item.
ArGee, your answer was very clever but out-dated. (LOL, here, ArGee!)
Thanks, but I’ll go with T-c’s answer. It’s more logical. ;o]
I’m no Vulcan, that’s for sure.
But you could be that guy from Iowa.
