EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.

Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. I used to teach classes like that, but then I got sick, so now, only once in a great while can I go to them. As usual, I have to be careful. They usually last about four hours, and that stretches my limit for one day. There was still about an hour left when we walked out. It was fun, though.
I just knew Siamese as very vocal. As for hissy cats, well, I’ve seldom ever been around animals that didn’t want to be around me. Except T-c’s two. Weird.

It’s been raining (sound and light show as well) since late yesterday afternoon. Don’t know when it will let up, but it’s going to be cold tomorrow and for a few days after.
Time to put away the summer clothes I didn’t wear!
Oh, wow. I had no idea that would happen. Good grief!! I’d better think about that long and hard! I have some traveling to do in the future and I may need to sign up for their “free” membership, though I loathe the idea. At least that way I can log in and (hopefully) not lose my standing.

Same here. But that meezer from long ago apparently didn’t like anybody except the mom of the family I babysat. My meezer is definitely quite conversational. LOL
Some cats are extremely territorial. I haven’t run into any like that unless they were feral. But Siamese are different, all the way around!
My cats just hate you, individually and severally. It’s not personal, unless you’re in their way or won’t give them your supper. Then it’s personal.
LOL - I had a calico like that. She was very sweet to me, but did not like anybody else. She just barely tolerated her kitty roommate, Finbar.
People would visit my place several times and never see my calico. They’d all see Finbar as he was a friendly, flirty little ginger show-off, but never my calico. One friend joked that he thought I was making her up.
Yes, I noticed that about your cats! I think Jake tried to sweet talk me once but when I had nothing he was asking for he ignored me like I was a person of contagion. Sweet cat, though. He has the snob thing down to a science!

We survived a bit of early morning fog on Saturday to have a decent weekend. Mrs. ArGee and I tried a nearby trail which was somewhat interrupted by a cross country invitational going on in the same park. That got us sideways at one point and we had to find our way back to the trail. But it was a good outing all in all.
Guessed it in 4 today.

The laundry is done, and I’m beat up, but I have to go to Kroger and get a couple of prescriptions at 0800. Unngh. What would I do without the boots and the sticks? ;o]
And that will be the end of “things” for this week, until Thursday, when I sort pills. Looks like I’m headed for a mini-relapse, so I’m going to just do what has to be done and let the rest fall by the wayside.
