EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.
From FaceBook:
Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. He then went back to the mine and got guys to push the car to the guard shack so they could plug in to charge. ... See more

Good morning. Happy Friday Eve!
It’s a bit chillier today - a more normal mid-40s. It looks like a normal day all around. Those who were off yesterday for Yom Kippur will be back so more things can be done at work.
Another Trey.

Good Friday Eve to you!
Excellent job!
Although, in the making, those yellow ones are hard to place!

Hoping that all goes well for you today!
When I try to use the knowledge from my first guess to inform my second guess, I think it may be harder than just using a second elimination word. I used to start with the same 2 words that would use all 5 permanent vowels and 5 very common consonants regardless of what the results were from the first word. I think I got fewer 5/ and 6/ results back then.
Good morning and Happy Thursday!
I’m following the trend.

If I don’t get anything from my first word, I have a second one to try. Between the two, they use the five vowels and up to five common consonants. Even then, I often have to go fish.
Good morning!
And good job on the Triplet! It’s a good place to be, today!
Good morning!
Good job!
Looks like we’re all in good company today!
I hope your day goes well!
I do wish my success with Wordle were a predictor of the kind of day I’ll have.
At least, I wish that when I do well.
Indeed!
That would be nice!
I get it. Some days, life is just not fair.
Happy Thorsday to all. It’s a beautiful day here. I went to Walmart.
It’s gorgeous here, too, but chilly — 64°.
I opened the door for the grocery delivery and saw that I missed a spot. Well, didn’t cover it well. I had put the paint away yesterday so it wasn’t visible in case my apartment was selected for inspection, but didn’t notice the thin spot on the door. It’s about 2” X 5” and probably not visible unless you’re looking for it. I may or may not paint over it. ;o]
The guy who delivered my grocks carried both cases of water from his truck at one time! The odd thing is that before he got there, an image flitted through my brain that he would do just that! And I told him so.
Now I need to sort my pills before I get too tired.
Once I get Frank and Kathleen moving along on their Envirothon homework after lunch, I plan to sit out in the yard with cats.
Beautiful weather here as well!
Actually I’m sorta glad life is unfair. I think it would have to treat me much worse than it does if it were fair.
I’d like to sit out in the yard with a cat, but not just jet. Soon, maybe. Although, something tells me to wait until I get moved. I’ll see if that feeling sticks around and if not, I’ll look again.
These are perfect days for relaxing with a cat!
My sister-in-law used to say “life is not fair” all the time, but she said it with a laugh.
She’s still laughing about it!
