Country music star Jason Aldean was dropped by his public relations firm on Friday amid continued fallout from his wife’s comments condemning transgender surgery for children, which the establishment news media have construed as “transphobic.”
Nashville’s The GreenRoom, which represents many top country music artists, cut ties with Jason Aldean on Friday but didn’t mention the media storm around Brittany Aldean.
“Music has always been and remains The GreenRoom’s core focus, so we had to make the difficult decision after 17 years to step away from representing Jason,” company co-founder Tyne Parrish said in a statement to Billboard. “We aren’t the best people for the gig anymore, but will always be big fans of his music — he is one of the greatest live entertainers in country music.”
Brittany Aldean found herself in hot water this month following a series of Instagram posts which she condemned transgender surgery for minors.
“Advocating for the genital mutilation of children under the disguise of love and calling it ‘gender affirming care’ is one of the worst evils,” she wrote in an Instagram Stories post. In a separate post, she said she was glad her parents didn’t “change her gender” during her “tomboy phase.”
Jason Aldean commented to his wife’s post: “Lmao!! I’m glad they didn’t too, cause you and I wouldn’t have worked out.”
On Thursday, Brittany Aldean explained her position during an appearance on Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight.
“I’m advocating for children,” she said. “I think that children should not be allowed to make these life-changing decisions at such a young age. They are not mature enough. They should have parents that love them and advocate for them regardless. We have ages on everything, right? We have it for cigarettes, we have it for driving, we have it for military, voting.”

We need to ask all their clients how they can support the genital mutilation and sterilization of children. If they disagree with the question, point out that their PR firm does. If they didn’t support it, they would fire the team. Let’s make them complicit.
Regardless of her opinion, since when does the husband get punished for it. That’s complete BS.
Our society completely sucks.
So true. Even 25 years ago, we’d be laughing our butts off about this crap because of the absurdity. Reality has really gone to crap. No way would we believe guys dressing as girls would go mainstream and a hell of a lot of other things as well. Too many to mention.
I’m working on creating a flux capacitor…
They list Thomas Rhett and wife Lauren, Brooks & Dunn, and Dierks Bentley among their clients..
He could quit the ear rings and probably not lose a single fan. (Honestly, I didn’t know what he looks like, and don’t think I could name even one of his songs. But I just haven’t followed music much over the last 30+ years).
Great that his wife speaks truth!
“All country and western singers should drop this firm”
I wish I could find a country and western singer.
That should increase Aldean’s Star status.
Can a 13 year old legally buy a pistol, without parental or even with parental approval?
And shoot ‘em with my ol’ .45.......lol
Bless you!
Travel mercies!
Jason is worth 80 million or so. This is a nothing burger that will hurt his ex PR team way more than him or his wife.
“Now he can hire a sane PR firm...”
Is there even such a thing as a sane PR firm? Most of them are run by woke dopes.
I’m sure better PR advice is available and probably more affordable than using a firm that will not work for clients with political views that do not harmonized with their own. A good PR firm will do their best for a client regardless of their personal philosophies. He is well rid of these losers.
The PR firm probably got a lot of pressure from the woke mob and rolled over. Most businesses don’t throw away business unless the perceived loss if they don’t, is greater. Like most things these days, it’s all about the money.
I am sure a MAGA sympathetic PR firm will have him. If DJT gets wind of this he will help
