I'm getting word from team guys (special forces) that they're being forced to turn in their Carl Gs (Carl Gustaf 8.4 cm recoilless rifle, an indispensable piece of equipment to SF teams), to send to Ukraine. This removes a very important item out of an operator's kit.
Have your bravos prep your Carl Gs for turn in. I've fought back on it as long as I can. Grp CDR said tough sh_t. SECDEF is sending them to Ukraine.
Not just SF you didn't hear it from me, but HIMARS systems slated for my regiment were sent there along with most of the ammo allotted to the regiment for training this year for both Tubes and Rockets

This is the reason for the sabotage in Novofedorovka, the failed attack on Zyabrovka and the aggressive attempts of the Ukrainians to arrange a man-made disaster at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
The air operation will be carried out by massive aviation forces in close cooperation with formations and units of other branches of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
About a week ago I read on a post on Telegram saying that there were now 400+ planes and 300+ helos deploying on the border. I connected that with what I had read a week earlier about the “largest air military operation in the last thirty years is being prepared.”
Remember, after the victory in the Severdonesk area Russia considered Phase 1 completed and went into an “operational pause” to rest, train and refit for Phase 2. Putin said that they hadn’t even gotten serious yet (a veiled threat that the next phase would be more intense.)

I visit only one base these days, Fairchild, and it seems fairly sharp along with the personnel. During the open house / air show it was particularly well trimmed and tidy. So I guess your base might not be representative.
